The next morning, everyone woke up more refreshed than ever. However Peyton started to get a bit moodier the past few days, and kept giving both Elleanor and James dirty looks whenever they were discussing escape plans.
'Oh would you please stop,' Peyton moaned, throwing herself back on a pillow, to which Elleanor found quite annoying.
'Well, could you please help,' she said sarcastically, scurrying around and looking for narrow window passages that may lead to escape. But whilst she was looking outside of a window, she found three people coming up the driveway. She couldn't believe it, it was Angelica and her crew.
Panicking, Elleanor thought about telling the others, however decided to just go and confront them. When she was about to go out of the window, James had ran up to her.
'Pst, can I come with you,' he whispered nervously, then looked back and said, 'Peyton's still asleep.'
She nodded and they both climbed out the window.
They walked nervously crimping in the snow until the girls saw them, Angelica came up to Elleanor with a nervous look on her face.
'Look I'm terribly sorry for saying that stuff to you the other day,' she pleaded, then said, 'I really love your outfit by the way, I was just doing it because Peyton's not the nicest person.'
'What?' Elleanor exclaimed, however James didn't look too surprised, 'but how? She's been so nice to me, why isn't she?'
'Because she'll act like the victim, and make us all look like the bullies,' Angelica said, who now held Elleanor into a hug. Then she turned to James, 'It's true isn't it?'
He startled then said, 'okay, yes it's true but I thought Elleanor was actually going to be her first friend like 'real' friend.'
'Yeah well, all she's doing is trying to get rid of her so she can get your dad to sell the house,' Angelica said, with a slight hint of panic in her voice.
'But she told me nothing, nothing was going to happen to the house,' Elleanor said angrily, and with a gasp of everyone, Peyton was standing right behind them all.
