'Mum,' Peyton froze, knowing that she got her friend into trouble, Elleanor stepped back up, completely, however quite hopelessly. How could someone like her be allowed into a house like this?

'This-this thing,' Mrs Boggs whispered, 'l-looks l-like a-a-a monster!'

'Oh Winonya,' Mr Boggs said kindly to his wife, 'this is nothing to freak out about, it's simply a-'

'Why did you call me a monster?' Elleanor said in static. Was this what her father perhaps warned her about many years ago, or was this her imagination?

'Now, now Ell,' he said to calm her down, 'this is simply a misunderstanding, we went up to that castle today, and found a girl, whom seems to know Edward Scissor-'

'Oh not again,' she moaned, 'you two are always coming up with theories that may suggest that this man may have had a daughter, and now someone has come to cosplay that for me?'

'I'm not cosplaying,' Elleanor replied, this did look and sound quite stupid, as Peyton's mum was shocked with the response.

'Well I- I wasn't expecting this theory to be quite true,' she replied, still gaping at Elleanor, 'seriously, it was really only a-'

'A what?' Peyton asked, shocked, 'a super-natural movie? Fantasy? Or simply a legend?'

'Peyton,' Winonya replied, anxiously turning to face her husband, 'is this really what you show me? In the middle of the night? Some get-up?'

'Winonya please,' he pleaded, kneeling at her knees, 'this isn't and won't be a problem, see? This girl has been alone for quite some time.'

'26 years,' Elleanor added.

'So we can clearly tell that this isn't what it may be.' He finished.

She thought for a moment, then said, 'Yes alright, if it makes you happy, I'll just agree,' she turned to Elleanor, 'and I'll make sure that you are well looked after, seeing as you haven't had company for 26 years.'

Winonya grinned at Elleanor, then said, 'well, what are you waiting for? Get this gorgeous creature a bed!'

'Yes,' Peyton exclaimed, then ran up to her mum and hugged her, 'thank-you, thank-you thank-you.'

'Peyts,' Winonya said, 'I would have loved to have something or someone quirky and lovely in my house.'
