-Aubrey's POV-
Have you ever got hit in the temple really hard when your already down?
No?
Well I don't recommend it.
The first thing that I was aware of as I rekindled to the surface was that my head fucking hurt.
Hell, my everything hurt.
Before attempting to open my eyes my hands feel around and I can't place right what's under them.
"Hey look she's waking up," I heard a guy said and I groaned. Presumably they're talking about me and "waking up" means that I got K.O.
Great...
"Aubrey?" another slightly familiar voice asked. "Aubrey can you hear me?" Instead of answering I just groaned and turned my head to the side, which ended up being a huge mistake.
Pain shot through my head and I cried out.
"Shit Simon you were supposed to hold her head straight."
"Sorry!" Someone squealed and I felt hands on my neck.
"Aubrey," Something cold briefly touched my aching temple and I hissed. "Aubrey I think you can hear me. This is gonna hurt a little bit but we have to keep the ice on." A second of silence past and I braced myself for whatever the voice was talking about.
Suddenly the cold was back on my temple and my eyes shot open.
"Ow that hurts!" I said and my hand went up to where the cold was. I grabbed whoever's hand was holding the ice and squeezed it, and closed my eyes again.
"It's okay Aubrey," I felt the surface around me shift a little and weight was moved around. "I'm gonna pick up your head a little. It may hurt so be ready." I nodded and my head was lifted. I bit onto my bottom lip and squeezed my eyes shut. I felt my head being lowered onto something warmer that elevated my head.
"Cold," I mumbled and then there were warm hands covering my arms and draped over my stomach.
My head and body hurt too much to complain that I have no fucking clue who's touching me. But right now they're warm and I'm cold so I'm not complaining.
"Hey Daniel can you go get us a blanket?" The voice says again and I try to piece together what their saying.
Daniel? Do I know a Daniel?
"Sure thing Tyler."
TYLER! MY NEW ENGLISH TEACHER?!?
"Tyler?" I asks and I feel the hands tighten around me.
"Aubrey are you okay?" I open my eyes to see his captivating blue orbs looking at me concerned.
"Um..." I couldn't think of words to say. Tyler's handsome face staring down at me while my head lied in his lap.
Thankfully someone else spoke before I had to.
"Hey here you go," I turned my head only slightly to see Daniel walking over us with a blanket. "Oh god your up." He laid the blanket on over me and I cuddled into it, turning my body into a ball.
Tyler kept the ice on my temple gently applying pressure.
"Aubrey talk to us what hurts?"
"Everything." I mumble and I feel the ice pack leave my head and Tyler shifts a bit so I'm more leaning against his shoulder, sitting up somewhat. "What happened?" I open my eyes and see Daniel kneeling in front of me.
"What's the last thing you remember?" he asks me instead of just telling me.
I wracked my brain for a second thinking if the last thing I remember.
