-Aubrey's POV-

Waking up the next morning was hard.

I had went to bed at like 12:30 last night and woke up at 6:30 for school. Much to my dismay I had to face the mirror today.

I had another bruise on my temple that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong it's still bad, but I was expecting my skin got completely tore off so this is good.

My fists were bruised too but they don't hurt that much. My sides have some bruising to them too and a cut on my upper thigh, but it wasn't visible with clothing.

Thankfully with clothes on, the only evidence I have of the fight was the bruise to the temple.

Katie and Jake were gonna be on my ass about that one.

Another good surprise this morning was the boys made me breakfast. Chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream smiley faces on them.

"Thanks that was amazing," I told them as I was finished.

"No problem," Daniel shrugged me off and Simon grinned. Tyler came out into the kitchen fully dressed and ready to go.

"Okay Aubrey we have to leave a little early cause I want to get your book bag before school," he said and I jumped off the stool near the counter.

"Okay let's go." I told him and waved good bye to Simon and Daniel.

I followed Tyler out the door and through a bunch or hallways and stairs before we got outside and to his car.

"Crap my car," I groaned as we got in.

"What about it?" he asked me, starting the engine.

"I left it at the ring last night," I told him and he nodded.

"After school we can go get it," Tyler reassured me and I slumped back down in the passenger seat.

I gave Tyler directions to my house and it only took like 15 minutes driving.

"Here I'll wait for you," Tyler says and looks down at his watch. "It's almost 7 so if you could hurry please." he said and I nodded.

"Yeah I just need to do a few things," I reassured him and he nodded me out. As quickly as I could I jumped out of his Buick and ran to my house door. Being the idiot I am I didn't lock the door last night because I'm just that stupid sometimes.

I close the door behind me and run upstairs to my room. It's just how I left it yesterday which is good.

Quickly as I could I packed my school bag and ran into the bathroom. As fast as any girl in America could manage, it took only 5 minutes to brush my teeth, my hair and put some make-up on my bruises.

I've become quite the expert in covering up bruises if I say so myself. Hopefully Jake nor Katie will even notice it.

Grabbing my bag I run back downstairs and back out to Tyler's car.

"You ready?" he asked as I buckled my seat belt.

"As I'll ever be."

The ride from my house to school was uneventful and quiet. It only took about 10 minutes and by some miracle we were early.

"Okay no ones here but teachers so you can come in with me," Tyler says unlocking his door.

"Okay," I reply simply and get out with him.

"How does your head feel?" Tyler asks as we walk. "I never asked you earlier."

"It's just throbs a little," I tell him with a shrug. "Can you see it?" Tyler stops walking and tilts my head to look at the side of my face.
