-Aubrey's POV-
"So remember that for next time," The principal says as she finished her lecture on 'respecting your elders and paying attention in class.'
"Yes Ms. Grovner it won't happen again," I tell her and she nods.
"Better not, now go to your locker the bells about to ring for lunch," she instructed and I stood up with my stuff and put on a smile for her.
"Okay thank you, have a nice day," I tell her and she just waves me away.
Quickly before she changed her mind, I open the door and escape from her torture chamber and out of the main office.
The bell hadn't rang yet so I'm the only person in the hallway right now. My lockers pretty close to the office so it only took a minutes to get there and open my locker with my combination.
As I opened it a piece of paper fell from my locker to the ground. Curiously, I put my books down in my locker and picked up the note.
Come to my classroom for lunch?
~Your favorite Shade ;-)
I laughed at the signature and put the note in my pocket, just as the bell rang.
I put my books and stuff away in the different compartments as all the anxious hungry kids filed out of their classrooms.
Never do I really ever bring lunch, I always buy. So like any other day I grabbed a five from my bag and closed my locker.
Since I'm staying at Tyler's I haven't been picking out the lunch money my parents normally leave for me in the morning. Normally the nicer I am in the morning the more money I would get, I know sounds weird but if I'm a brat they don't feel I need the money.
I just stuck $15 dollars in my bag from the prize money I got last fight. It's not like it put a dent in it really.
As I got to the cafeteria I could smell whatever sort of mystery meat the staff was trying to pull off as healthy.
Instead of suffering heart burn for the rest of the day, I skipped over the sloppy joes they were serving and got a salad. Even though it wasn't much better, it was better then food poisoning from undercooked duck fat.
I got that, a Dr. Pepper, and a bag of cool ranch Doritos. When I got down to the lunch lady I handed her the five and I told her to just put the rest on my account so I didn't have to carry it.
A few more people had drifted into the cafeteria and I looked to see Jake and Katie weren't two of them. I'll just text them when I get up to Tyler's classroom.
Speaking of Tyler's classroom, I wondered why he wants me to have lunch with him.
Maybe he just wants to spend time with you...
Or maybe I completely failed that test and I need to redo it.
It was a pre test dumbass you can't do bad on it...
Well knowing my luck today I probably found a way to.
Oh just shut up he wants to see you stupid...
Now why would he want to see me?
Because he likes you...
God is it bad I can just imagine my inner voice rolling their eyes.
No because I am rolling my eyes at you...
God I'm so weird sometimes.
I unfocused from my weird, delusional inner voice and noticed that I'm already here. Closing in the last few steps, I balance my lunch in one hand and open his door with the other.
