-Tyler's POV-

"And I plan on making you stay." she said and turned to keep walking down the stairs.

She wants me to stay?

I continued down the stairs, a giddy smile permanently stamped on my face.

I see Aubrey already half way down the hallway and open a door on the right.

"Found it," she called out and I jogged the way over to her.

"Those boxes," I point to the boxes with books in them and she bends over to pick one up. Begrudgingly my eyes traveled down her body and to her ass.

Wow fighting gave her a great ass...

Shut up you pedophile!

I thought I shut you off... I grumble in my mind and watch Aubrey bend back up with the heavy box, lifting it like it's nothing.

"Okay now you get that one," I moved out of the way to let her walk by me and I bent down to pick up the second box. "How long is this until?" she asks as I close the storage room door.

"Not sure yet," I tell her and we start walking back down the hallway. I look over to her and notice the faint bruising of her cheek is still there, barely visible with the make up. "How are your bruises?" I ask and she looks over to me and shrugs.

"They don't really hurt," she tells me. "There just kinda there. The only time I really notice them is when someone pushes on them."

"I guess that's a good sign," I nod and she nods with me.

"Yeah I've heal pretty fast, I think my bodys used to it." She tells me and I let out a little chuckle.

"Aubrey that's terrible," I tell her and she laughs with me.

"Yeah but I get used to it," she says with a million dollar smile on her face.

"Aubrey, can I ask you a question?" I ask a little nervously and she nods.

"Sure ask away," she encourages and I take in a deep breath.

"After your parents get back," I start as we finish climbing up the stairs. "Are you still gonna hang out with us?" I ask a little embarrassed. I was wondering about this. If she was just gonna go back to her old life and not even think about it afterwards or actually still say in contact with us and hang and stuff.

"Yeah of course," She told me and I let out a small sigh of relief. I would really hate it if she just forgot about us after this. "Just warning you I might just be at your house more then my own." she warned me and I laughed.

"That is perfectly okay with me," I assured her and she gave me a heart breaking smile and expertly opened my classroom door with her free hand and held it out for me.

I wonder what she thinks of me...

_______________

-Aubrey's POV-

After I helped Tyler pass out the books to the class most of the period was up. He started to explain more about this project we had to do and I just kinda zoned out and started drawing him again.

Benefit of liking the English teacher...

Wait did I just think that?

I don't like him. Do I? Does he like me?

All these different questions started to pop into my head as the bell rang. I closed up my sketch pad and packet all my stuff back up. I wasn't at all listening to what he was saying for the project so I'm not sure if we had homework on it or not.
