I wondered what was going on inside of her head right now. Did she think it was unreal? Do she think it's just an fantasy? What was she thinking? I wish I could read her mind.

"So you're a werewolf," she stated.

I nodded my head. "Yep. Last time I checked."

She chuckled. "Out of town," she reminded me. That was the lie I told her and my friends.

"I wish."

"So there's like nothing you can do to stop becoming that? Like anything?" Her face look so depressed. She looked so upset, like she was disgusted.

It made me mad. Like really? It is really that bad? My eyebrows smashed down. "It's not just something I can do, Tiffany. What I become is born inside of me. It's in my veins." I scoffed. "I'm pretty sure you was extremely happy when Derwin told you he was a vampire."

"No, it's not like that. Derwin told me so many terrible stories about werewolves and what y'all do. Y'all kill people."

I chuckled a little bit. "Well he lied. Unless he consider himself human, but he's not. That's the only thing we kill. Vampires and any other unnatural thing that dangers other humans."

Tiffany started to look confuse. "Wait, that's not possible. DJ, you can't kill vampires. They'll kill you."

"Derwin really filled your head up with lies. Let me ask you something. If our teeth could go into another wolf skin, which is ten times stronger than a vampire skin, what makes you think our teeth can't into a vampire skin, which is ten times less stronger than an werewolf skin? Who do you think will win that fight?" She didn't answer me. "I thought so."

She was quiet for a long period of time. She was looking down at the ground. She was just fidgeting with her hands. Tiffany sniffed two times. Is she crying?

"Tiffany," I called her name. I grabbed her hands and pulled her closer to me. "Talk to me. Please."

"Does this mean we still can't be together?" she whispered, sniffing one more time.

"I don't know. Werewolves have true lovers and... I haven't felt that with you, yet." Tiffany looked me into my eyes. One tear started to roll down her face. I put my thumb over it, wiping it away. I looked Tiffany in her beautiful brown eyes. I love this girl. "But I think I am now. I love you, Tiffany."

Once I said those words, sparks flew everywhere. My heart is now stolen. Tiffany is my true lover. I can tell for sure now. Tiffany is my future wife and the mother of my future kids. I love her with everything in my heart. She understands me and I understand her. We are made for each other.

I don't have to worry about Derwin anymore. Tiffany Marie Grand is mines. No one can steal her away from me. Tiffany controls me. Whenever I need to calm down, I just have to think about her. She's my mate.

I leaned down and kissed Tiffany on the lips. It was a small kiss at first. Then it got serious. Tiffany wrapped her arms around my neck as I wrapped my arms around her waist. We deepened the kiss. Our heads were going side to side, eyes close, and tongues were just touching each other's. I want to make love to her right now. So bad.

Tiffany pulled away from me. We opened our eyes. "What just happened?" she whispered.

"Something I wanted to happen a long time ago," I whispered back. "You're my true lover."

She smile extremely hard. "So are you." She pulled me by my shirt and brought my lips back to hers. We kissed all over again.

I pulled away this time. "Let's go to Trey's house before we get too far."
