17. This Isn't About You!

The last period of class was cool. Everybody was just talking to each other. Today is Friday, so the teacher let us have an off day. We were playing games and just cooling. Jasmine was also in the class. Tiffany and Jasmine talked and got to know each other. Jasmine met some new people. It was pretty fun.

My mind went back and forth about everything. First it'll go to Tiffany because I just kept thinking about proposing to her. I wondered when will it be the right time. I don't want to ask just for we can have sex early. I want to ask because I just have this feeling in my gut that I should do it soon. I know Tiffany is going to be with me forever. I just want to make it official with her. I want to make her my wife as quick as possible.

On the other side of my brain, I kept thinking Derwin and Jasmine. Like this can't be happening. Jasmine can not go with a vampire. Vampires aren't able to love, at least not out of their kind. I just have this feeling that Derwin is going to hurt my sister, physically. I'm not going to let that happen. Vampires and humans don't even go together. They could be kissing and...gross. I just can't imagine that happening.

Jasmine, Tiffany, and I are now walking to the parking lot. School is finally over.

"Can we talk about how you lost in Uno, though?" Jasmine said.

I rolled my eyes. "Bruh, you cheated. You don't know how to shuffle cards."

Jasmine and Tiffany laughed.

"Bruh, you suck. Just admit it. I won fair and square."

"Whatever, bruh. You didn't want a rematch, so it don't matter."

They continued to laugh. Tiffany is cracking up, though. She just think it's so funny. Bet.

I grabbed Tiffany by the waist and pulled her closer to me. I wrapped my arms around her and got behind her. "You think it's so funny, huh?" I asked her.

She continued to laugh. I lifted her off the ground a little bit and squeeze her, gently. She laughed even harder. This girl is dying of laughter. She tried to unwrap my arms, but couldn't because she was laughing so hard.

Jasmine shook her head. "DJ don't ever want to pick on people his own size."

I put Tiffany down and kissed her on the lips. Then I looked at Jasmine. She always trying to fight. I walked up to Jasmine, getting in her face.

"I'm picking on you now, so what's up?" I stood over her. Every time she tried to walk, I got in her way. I just kept bumping into her.

Jasmine laughed. "Alright, man, dang. You got it. You won."

"Oh, alright, then. That's what I thought."

We all laughed and continued to walk. We finally made it to the parking lot. We walked to Tiffany's car first. I opened the door for Tiffany.

"See you later on, beautiful?" I questioned.

"Yep."

We kissed and then she got in the car. Before I could close the door, a car blew its horn. I turned to see that it's Derwin.

He standing outside of his car, smiling. He motioned for Jasmine to come to him. I looked at Jasmine, Jasmine and Tiffany looked at me, and I looked back at Derwin.

What the hell is he doing? The dude just don't get it, do he? The fact that he pulled this stunt in the school parking lot. He's asking for a death wish.

Jasmine looked at Derwin and started to walk towards him. I grabbed her by the arm. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" Anger was slowly coming into my body.

Jasmine snatched her arm away from me. "I'm going over there with Derwin. You don't have to worry about giving me a ride home."

I exhaled and tried to calm myself down. "Jasmine if you go over there, I'll-"

"You'll what?" she interrupted. I didn't respond to her. She obviously want me to make a scene, but she know I can't do that. Jasmine already acting like she grown. "I thought so," she said. Then she walked over to Derwin. They got in his car and drove off.

My vision instantly turned red. My hands started to shake, badly. I'm so freaking pissed right now. How could Jasmine just disrespect me like that? She know this guy for ONE day and already following behind him? So pathetic!

Tiffany grabbed me by the shirt and quickly took me to my car. She grabbed my car keys and unlock the car. She opened the door and pushed me in the driver side. She closed the door and ran to the passenger side.

I punched the steering wheel so damn hard. "Ahhh!" I screamed. I'm so freaking pissed off. I just kept punching the steering wheel, one after another.

How could she? What the hell got into her? She's just going to leave with him without knowing what he is about? He can kill her! I screamed again, not caring who could hear me.

I'm going to kill him. Derwin is done. I'm going to tear him into pieces. The look on his face when he motioned Jasmine to come to him. He just knew she was going to come to him. The bastard is going to die.

My claws slowly started to come out. My teeth got sharpen and my vision turned red and blurry. I started to growl, lowly. I have completely lost control.

"DJ!" Tiffany yelled. She put her hands on the side of my face, making me look at her. "Calm down, NOW, DJ! Please!"

At first, I wanted to just throw Tiffany's hand off me. Then she made me look at her and her voice sounded frighten. She's scared and I'm making her that way. Tiffany. Tiffany. Tiffany. I can't hurt her.

I closed my eyes and just took real deep breaths. Minutes later, I finally calmed down.

"You okay, now?" Tiffany asked. Her voice was still a little scared, but it was more calm. I nodded my head. "Okay." Tiffany let go of my face. "How about we just hang out now? Let's go do something."

Anger came back immediately. I looked at Tiffany. "Are you serious right now? You want to talk about hanging out when my sister just left with an FREAKING VAMPIRE?" I yelled.

Tiffany became scared. "I just – I just wanted to help take your mind off this."

"WELL DON'T. My sister can be getting killed right now. And all you want to do is think about yourself?" My blood is boiling so bad. "Get out," I said in a low and dark voice. Tiffany didn't move. "GET OUT!"

Tiffany immediately got out the car. I cranked the car up and drove to Trey's house, quickly as possible.
