I'm getting ready for school right now. I'm nervous as hell. When I came home last night, all I could think about was Tiffany. I wondered if she was my true lover.

I checked my phone last night and I had so many missed calls from her. My friends had texted and called me, but not as many times as Tiffany did. She sent me a text every day. In the beginning of me missing, she sent small messages, days later they turned into paragraphs.

I didn't text her back. I want to talk to her in person. I don't know what I'm going to tell her and my friends. They're going to have questions on where I been. I might tell them I went back to Atlanta to visit my mom. Tiffany is going to have so many questions. She might be even angry. I'll make it up to her.

I grabbed my bookbag, car keys, and walked out the door. I got in the car and drove to school. The school was still the same. I don't know why I thought it would change.

I got out the car. I walked over to the benches that we normally use to sit at. My friends were all there sitting down. Tiffany was also sitting with them.

I'm nervous. Clam down. Calm down. Calm down. I sighed.

I walked up to them. "What's up y'all," I said to them.

Everyone face was priceless. They were so shocked and surprised.

"What's up, man," Ladell spoke.

We all did our handshake. I hugged Melanie, Emma, and Kristen. After a few minutes of us talking, I noticed Tiffany was quiet and starring off into space. I looked at her.

"Hey, Tiffany," I said.

She didn't say anything. She turned her head to look at me. Her eyes had happiness, sadness, and a bunch of other emotions I couldn't determine. Tiffany got up and walked inside the school. I sighed.

"Awkward," BJ said.

I shook my head and followed behind Tiffany. We still have 10 minutes left till the bell ring, so Tiffany wasn't in class. I walked down a hallway, looking for her. Finally, I spotted her by the girls bathroom. She was walking out of it. I walked faster to catch up with her.

I grabbed her arm and turned her around to face me. We were face to face, no space between us. Her eyes were red. Was she crying? Tiffany was slightly breathing hard.

We stared into each other eyes. I slightly move Tiffany's hair out of her face. I leaned in and pressed my lips against hers. At first, she didn't kiss back, but after a few seconds she gave in and kissed me back. She wrapped her arms around my neck, deepening the kiss. I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Hey, break it up," a teacher said.

We laughed and pulled away from each other. "I'm sorry," I apologized to her.

"Where were you?" she asked.

"I went back home to my mom. She was missing me. Had to pay her a visit," I lied.

"Oh okay," Tiffany said. Seem like she believes me. Good.

"Tiffany," somebody called.

"Tiffany," somebody called
