After I dropped Tiffany off at home, I went to go hang out with the pack. The fight with the new bloods is on Saturday. We practiced our moves and talked about the fight. We also agreed to take our girlfriends on a special date. It's been a while since we actually did something romantic for them.

It's Thursday now. I'm not going to school today. I have a lot to do. I have this feeling in my gut that it's time. It's time for me to pop the question. These past couple of days has been amazing with Tiffany. We communicate more, hang out more, and honestly we've been craving to take it to the next step if you know what I mean. My love for her is getting stronger and stronger every day. I'm ready to make her my fiancé and then my wife.

I told her I wasn't coming to school today because the pack and I are doing something before the fight. Today I'm going to buy her a ring, ask her father for her hand, and buy the food for tomorrow night's dinner.

Today I'm basically going to set everything up. I want to make sure tomorrow is going to be the best day ever. I don't want anything to go wrong. Tomorrow needs to be perfect. I'm proposing to Tiffany. Like this is crazy. We're only 18 and we're already about to be engaged.

I know we're young, but it's meant to be. I'm ready and I'm pretty sure Tiffany is, too.

Which one should I do first? Ask for Tiffany's father hand or buy the ring first? Ask for her father's hand. I'll be passing by her house on the way to the jewelry place, anyways.

I got in my car and drove to Tiffany's house. It's going on 9 o'clock in the morning. Mr. Jace has to be to work at 10 o'clock. I have enough time.

I wonder if he'll say yes? He probably won't because we're so young and haven't dated for a full year yet. He will never fully understand because he don't know that Tiffany is my true lover. Tiffany and I are going to be together forever. I'm going to have to convince Mr. Jace that I won't hurt her. No matter what he say, I'm going to marry Tiffany with or without his permission.

I got out my car and walked up to the door. I took a deep breath. I knocked on the door. Be cool. Be cool. I knocked on the door, again.

Mrs. Grand open the door. She smiled. "Hey, DJ. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at school?"

"Yea, but I have to ask you and especially Mr. Jace something."

"Okay. Come in." I walked inside the house. "Jace is in the living room." Mr. Jace was sitting on the couch, watching ESPN. "Babe, DJ is here."

I sat down on the couch. "How you doing, Mr. Jace?"

"Doing alright. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at school?"

"Yea, but I need to ask you something really important. I know this might be strange or whatever, but I want to ask you if it's cool that I marry your daughter?"

Mr. Jace looked at me. "What? Are you serious?" I nodded my head. "DJ, you guys are only 18. I just met you like two weeks ago and you want to marry my daughter."

"Yes. I know this don't make sense to y'all and it never will make sense to y'all. But it makes sense to me...and Tiffany. I'm ready to be the man Tiffany needs me to be. I love her so much. This isn't puppy love. I know how I feel. I'm ready. No matter what you think or say I'm proposing to Tiffany."

"You might be ready now, but later on in the future you're not going to be ready. Marriage is a whole another level. You have to make sacrifices and a lot of very hard decisions. I respect what you're saying, but I don't agree on it. You're not ready. I agree on y'all being together, but marriage no. Give it a couple years and then I agree on it."
