They had both been sent to their dormitories and Professor Mc Gonagall cleaned up the mess that they had made within seconds. Draco would be lying to himself if he said that he was not even a little bit relieved about the fact that they were both interrupted as it saved him from facing Harry, they had little to look at each other in the eyes before they parted ways lest having the time to talk. The other part of him knew that he wanted Harry, now more than ever he wanted to see the look on his face when they parted, to bid him goodbye with another kiss. Draco hated that part of himself because he knew that being with Harry would only mean risking his life even more and that he could not bear the weight of shattering Harry's trust.

The Dark Lord's orders were orders sworn in blood, and to let his own whims get in the way of his vision would mean the death of him, and his family and possibly even Harry. Draco made a promise to himself that he would, by no means be seen near Harry.

Harry had been lying wide-eyed in his bed for what seemed like ages, he could not shut his mind to what had happened and did not understand why had he let it happen. Draco couldn't possibly like Harry, could he? but then he had kissed him, and Harry had kissed him back. The thought still made his stomach do a summersault as he smiled to himself. Harry had been awestruck when Draco had abruptly pulled away upon the arrival of Prof. Mc Gonagall, who thought that Draco and Harry were having another row, it was like Harry had woken up from a dream. He could not wait to see Draco tomorrow, but what was he supposed to do when he saw him? Greet him with another kiss? Or will a smile do?

He had not had time to tell Ron and Hermione about anything, as it was way past midnight when he had entered the Gryffindor common room, and both of them had gone to bed, he had been greeted by a snoring Ron upon entering his dormitory.

Harry slowly slipped into a deep sleep and dreamed of hot water springs and roses and rubber ducks.
