Chapter 6. Salmon Run

~Zack's (Agent 3's) pov~

I just starred at the text message 4 sent me but ignored her. I soon walked to my small and comfortable apartment. I only had one bed, a table, kitchen, bath, and closet. As I walked I got another text message which was probably Ariel. But as I looked it was an unknown number.

I looked at the message and it was Izzy!? Ariel must have asked Marina or Pearl for her number and then sent my number to Izzy.

Izzy (Agent 8): Hey Zack! Agent 4 sent me your phone number so me and you can talk! ^w^

It was a sweet text message, but what did I know?

Zack (Agent 3): Already then, well it's nice to talk to you. You're a very understandable octoling I've met well the only one.

Izzy (Agent 8): Thank you so much! Well Marina is forcing me to go to bed since it's late, goodnight Zack-Chan!

Zack (Agent 8): Goodnight..

Did she just god damn call me Zack-Chan!? I turned off my phone and covered my face as I blushed.

 "At least it wasn't senpai..." I sighed in relief. I plugged my phone in and turned my lights off and went to bed. Grizzco here we come!

~Izzy (Agent 8's) pov~

I woke up from a great sleep I had, but I couldn't stop thinking of the little chat me and Zack had. I guess I can call him Zack-Chan like Ariel said. I walked out of my room and sat down for Waffles (cannibalism to Wafflez lol)

 "Someone's thinking about someone~" Pearl teased me I guess.

 "8's got a crush! 8's got a crush!" Pearl shouted.

   "What's a crush?" I asked Pearl and Marina.

 "A crush? It's someone you really like then when you start dating you might fuc-" Marina covered Pearl's mouth before she can finish.

    "Someone I like? Like a friend?" I questioned again.

  "Someone you want more to be a friend. Like in a deeper relationship instead of friendship." Marina said as she started to put peanut butter on my Waffles and syrup. I nodded and started to eat, I got dressed into my casual look and waited for Zack to come.

 "I'm here!" He excitedly walked in. I raced to him and hugged him tight.

 "I-Iz-Izz-Izzy c-ca-can-can't br-brea-breath." He just to speak as I was hugging him to death.

    "Sorry, I'm just super excited to be with you Zack-Chan and 4!" I told him.

 "Awww, she called you Zack-Chan!" Marina awed. As I ran out the door with he's hand. I ran so fast that I didn't realize that he's hand slipped out of my grip.

  "Ariel's already there so we should hurry." Zack caught up with me as we were a few feet away from Inkopolis Square. We walked to the Square and there we saw Ariel.

 "Hey Izzy and Zack!" Ariel winked at us as we walked to her.

   "Zack-Chan are we going to Grizzco now?" I asked him, but when I said that the blue fuzzy stuff appeared on he's face. Ariel was just smirking at us and I was wondering what the smirk meant.

    "Y-Yeah let's go.." he said as he walked to Grizzco. We put on the Salmon Run outfits and waited for another inkling, soon a female inkling joined but she stayed far away from me. Ariel and Zack-Chan would give mean looks at the stranger.

We started at spawning grounds are ink color was blue and wave 1 was just a normal match, the weapons randomized and I got the regular dualies. I looked around and saw a stinger, one of my least favorite ones. I started to shot at the pots and yelled "This way!" I picked up a pretty golden egg and Octo formed back into the blue ink. I went up to the basket and put it in.

 "Nice one!" Zack-Chan smiled as he put in a golden egg, and so did Ariel. I ran to a different area and found a Steelhead, I tried shooting the top but missed and ended up being splatted. I asked for help by the female inkling but she just refused and walked away. 

  "Why that son of a bi- blink. Zack-Chan said to that inkling girl and revived me. Something is really strange about inklings....
