~my pov~
We have been driving for half an hour when we pull up to what looks like an abandoned warehouse. "What is this place?" I asked getting out of the car. "this is my home away from home. I come here and explore. See if anything changes or any writings were added to the walls" we walk in and I immediately get chills. I don't know if I was scared or if it was actually cold from no light. Colby saw me shiver and asked "do you want to go grab a hoodie from my back seat?" "Will I have to pay for it?" I asked with a smile. "No. You can keep one. Go pick and meet me back here." I smile, take his keys and go grab a maroon take chances hoodie. When I get back to the entrance, Colby is nowhere in sight. "Great, I am in an abandoned place, that I'm not familiar with, alone. This is wonderful." I whisper to myself. Then suddenly there was a bang behind me and I screamed. I turn around and there he is, on the ground laughing. "You dickface." I said all serious. "I... Am... So sorry." he is still laughing. I'm just staring at him. His beautiful smile on his face. His laugh is almost like listening to nature, it was nice and full of beauty. I can't be mad for a long and start laughing too. "so are you going to show me around or just sit there and laugh?" I ask "no, I'll give you the Grand tour." We walk around and he is showing me the indoor pool and the gym. All the rooms. It was creepy but it wasn't scary if that makes sense. We walk into the hallway and hear a loud boom. Both of us turn around and the door that was open earlier was closed. "Is this place haunted by chance?" I asked nervously. "Not that I know of. That's never happened before." Now I'm freaking out. Someone or something is in here with us. This is when my anxiety was back on the field to play. I started shaking and Colby looks at me and says "we need to keep moving, don't want whatever that was to know we are here." I look at him, continuing to freak out and not move. He holds out his hand to me and says "come on." I take his hand and we walk to the other room. We are walking hand-in-hand, I am still freaking out. He stops in his tracks and listens. I stop breathing and listen to. I hear a faint 'hey' and look at Colby. I'm scared to death now. "Did you hear that?" I ask. "yeah. Let's get going it's getting dark and I don't think whatever is here wants us to stay." I agree and we start running to the entrance. We make it out to his car and we get in. He doesn't even buckle and speed off. "So that never happens?" I asked after I calmed down a bit. "No. But people go there all the time. Maybe some evil people went." I look at him. "Evil, like a devil worshippers evil?" "Yeah. Now I know me and Sam have to do another video here." He says. "A video? There? Why would you do that?" He looks at me for a hot second and says "go and watch our videos, that's what we do. That is our job." I am just in shock. I feel out of it. When we are far enough away I ask Colby "can we pull over?" he nods and pulls the car to the side of the road. I open my door and get out. Walking a few steps away from the car and sitting on the ground. Colby also gets out and comes to me. "Are you okay?" I quickly get up, for some reason my vision was blurry and going black. "I'm fine." I managed to get out before I almost fall. He runs and catches me before I land on my ass. "yeah, I'm going to say you are lying. Just take a minute. Breathe." I nod and take a minute to calm down. We sat there for about 5 minutes before I talked again. "I know we aren't best friends or anything, but can I ask you something?" He looks at me and says "besides what you already asked, sure." he giggled a bit but stopped when I didn't join in. "Whats up beautiful?" He asked. I hesitated for a minute about to cry. "You can talk to me. I know I just start talking to you yesterday, but I am here if you need someone to talk to." I look at him tears in my eyes. He's scoots closer and I laid my head on his shoulder. "I have anxiety. And usually I deal with it, but for some reason I can't right now. it's not going away. I just don't know what to do." I lift my head off his shoulder and hold my hands over my face, still crying. I hear him stand up and walk to where he is now in front of me. He crouches down puts his hand on my knee. I uncover my face and look at him. He says. "I kind of knew you deal with anxiety but I didn't want to bring it up after I did earlier. I'm glad you told me though." He holds his hands out to me. I grabbed them he helps me up. Once I'm up he pulls me into a comforting hug. He says "if you feel like you're about to have anxiety. Give me a call and I'll try to help you as best I can. Okay?" I hug him a bit tighter to show that I understood. After about a minute or two he pulled away and said "we should probably get you home." I look at him, face still puffy and say "actually, could I possibly stay with you. I know it's asking a lot and it's probably weird. But I would rather not go home." He thought about it for a minute. "Yeah. Let me text Sam. Tell him we are going to have guests tonight." I smile and we walked to his car. A couple minutes go by and Sam text back saying okay. 30 minutes later we arrived at his apartment. It's a nice building, and a pretty good neighborhood. And it's not far away from the school which is surprising because he is always late to school. We walk to his apartment. Inside, it's pretty spacious. To your left is the kitchen. It was a little small but what is good for two people. Straight ahead is an open space, probably the living room, with a LoveSac up against a window in the corner and a couch all the way on the sidewall. Then to your right is a short hallway that leads to the bathroom and bedroom. Colby closes the door behind us and screams for Sam. He walks around the corner and immediately looks at me. He has the brightest blonde hair. I wish I had it to be honest. His his eyes are like Colby but not as light of a blue. Him and Colby could probably pass as brothers but they're really not. Sam then looks at Colby. You can tell Colby got a little nervous cause he immediately said "dude, she's just a friend that needs a place to stay tonight. Calm down." both mine and Sam's face went red, knowing what else Colby thought. We stood there an awkward silence for about 30 seconds. Then Sam said "well, it was nice to meet you…" he paused. "Haley." I said. "Haley?" He asked with wide eyes and looked at Colby. I also looked to see what he does. "Yeah, that's her name. We good?" Sam nods and goes back to his room. "So… what was that about?" I asked after I hear the door closed. "Guy stuff. Not anything to worry about." I roll my eyes and walk over to the LoveSac. It was so comfy I didn't want to move. "I'll give you the bed and I'll sleep on the couch." He said. "you know you don't have to. Just grab me a blanket and I can sleep here. Also I don't have enough energy to go to your room." He rolled his eyes and left, probably get a blanket. When he is out of the room my phone buzzes. It wasn't a text notification either, someone was calling me. I looked at my phone and it was number I didn't recognize. After it rang the number texted me.
