~My pov~
The only thing that I didn't like about this plan my friends had, was I had to walk with Colby. I was going to avoid him until after Saturday. But that plan is now down the drain. "Ready to go to class?" Colby asked after the bell rang. I just roll my eyes and start walking to class. Colby sighs and ran up next to me. "This is part of the cycle, but i'm glad it is. We still need to talk." I get annoyed and walk faster, saying "There is nothing to talk about." "Yes there is, I had no right to try and control who you talk to. You should be your own person. Even if i don't agree, i should be there for you." He strikes back. Now i'm at a loss of words. I do need my buddy back, life has been kicking my ass without him. Especially since i spilled my whole life story to him. "You mean that or are you just telling me what i want to hear?" i ask him curiously. "I mean every word. You not being in my life made me never leave my house or talk to anyone. I missed you." he replies. "So are we good?" "If you really mean every word. Then yes, we are good." I smile. He stops us dead in our tracks and hugs me. "Thank you," he whispers in my ear. I tell him it wasn't a problem and we continued on to class. After that the rest of the day and week went by without incident. I did get a few text but Sam took my phone, making sure it wasn't any hateful text. "At least when you snatch my phone, yell snatchies," i laugh. "I guess I can do that." sam replies. All the group was at Sam and Colbys place, where we usually are on a friday night. Sitting there till midnight talking and laughing about stupid crap. Niki and Jackson were also got an invite so they felt welcome with all my new friends. She shows and informs us that he wasn't feeling the best. We continued to enjoy ourselves until at least 2:45 am. "Alright, it's getting late. I'm going to head out.'' I announce. "Well that means i'm leaving too. Since i'm staying at your place. Thanks for including me guys, i really appreciate it." she says as her and i gather our things. "Not a problem, see you guys later today." Colby says as he gives us hugs goodbye. Brennen immediately jumps up to be next in line to give me a hug. Then i travel around the group to give the rest hugs. "I'll pick you up at 8:30 tonight," Brennen says. "I'll be waiting," I say and look at Niki. "Ready to go?" she gives me a nod and we head to my apartment.
~Colby's pov~
After Haley and Niki left, Brennen kept texting me. Even though i was sitting right next to him
Daddy Brennen- What was that?
Me- What was what?
Daddy Brennen- Hugging Haley. She's going on a date with me, not you.
Me- Bro, me and her are friends. I'm allowed to hug my friends.
Daddy Brennen- well, don't. She's as good as mine. And don't even think about texting her. She'll just think you are doing the same as before.
Me- Whatever dude. But news flash, She isn't into you like that.
Daddy Brennen- Fuck you!
He gets up, Gathers his things, and walks out the front door. Slamming it behind him. "What was that about," Corey asks. "Don't worry about it." I answer, walking to my room and closing the door. After everyone leaves, Sam and Katrina walk into my room. "Don't tell everyone, that's fine. But at least tell us what happened." Katrina states. Instead of telling them, I show them the text. Once they read through the messages we all thought the same thing. Keep a good eye on Haley the whole time.
