My pov~
I was so angry. Niki never like Colby and I get that. But she doesn't have to act the way she does. I don't act like that when her and Jackson are all over each other. I just wanted to leave, but I can't until Colby it's done with his detention. Unless I can catch a ride with Sam. So I decide to text him.

Me- hey Samuel. Did you leave yet?
Samuel😈- no. Are you wanting a ride?
Me- yeah. I was going to wait for Colby but I really don't want to😂
Samuel😈- well if you are coming to our place hurry up cuz I'm about to leave.
Me- Thanks bud.
Samuel😈- no problem✌️

I hurry up and run to his car. I hop into the back because I noticed someone in the front seat. "This is my girlfriend Katrina." He then looks at the girl, "and this is Haley. The one Colby talks about all the time." She turns to look at me. She is a beautiful human being. Her hair is dyed blue and she has light brown eyes. When she talks there's a tint of an accent, sounds Canadian. She's all smiles. "It's nice to finally meet you. I've heard a lot of good things." "Nice to meet you too." I say back with a warm smile. "You were going back to the apartment right?" Sam asked looking at me through the rearview mirror. I nod. "I texted Colby already, told him I'd meet him there." "Alright. Let's go then." We pull out of the school parking lot and start making our way to the apartment. "Can we stop and get mochi?" Katrina asks Sam. He sighs, "Do we have to?" "Yeah we do." She said giggling away. she always seemed so positive and full of laughter. It's pretty contagious. "Fine. But you'll have to go in and get it." Her mouth goes wide, almost in disappointment. I feel bad so I say, "I'll go in with you Katrina." "Really? Great, I'm not sad anymore." She says as her smile comes back instantly. Sam pulls into the Trader Joe's parking lot and me and Katrina get out. While we were walking in she asked me, "have you ever had mochi?" I shake my head in her jaw dropped. "Are you serious? you are definitely going to try one when we get to the apartment." I said "alright." and followed her throughout the store. "So." I started, "how long have you and Sam been dating?" She thought about it and said "about 6 months." Then proceeded to ask "how did you meet the boys?" I told her about the first time I talked to both boys. Then got carried away and talked about the hospital incident. which I immediately regretted. "You went to the hospital because of Sam?" She said freaking out a little bit. "No no. It wasn't Sam's fault. I passed out and he took me there. Not his fault." She calm down and we checked out. I thought I made her feel uncomfortable so I said "I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable." She looks at me with the sweetest eyes and says "girl, you didn't. I am actually surprised you told me that. Seems like a touchy subject. We should definitely hang out sometime though." I am surprised. I guess I was so use to people running at the hearing of my problems, but she didn't. I say "I would love to Katrina." "Please call me kat, and this weekend me and the girls are going to a movie. Meet me at Sam and Colby apartment." I nod and we go back to Sam. "What took you guys so long?" He asked when we got into the car. "I made a new friend. It takes a bit." Sam looks at me through the rearview mirror and I nod to confirm. "Okay, I'm glad you guys became friends so fast." "Me too." I say making eye contact with Kat. we both smile and we all make our way back to the apartment. When we get there Colby is waiting in the kitchen. He looks at me and says "we need to talk." I gave him a confused look. "Okay? Here or somewhere else?" "Somewhere else." He says. I nod and look at Katrina to give her my number so she can text me. That I leave with Colby. we silently walked to his car, got in and drove to god-knows-where. "Are you hungry?" he asked me. "Yeah, is… everything okay?" I asked cautiously. "We will talk about it when we get to Tender Greens. Is Tender Greens good? Forgot to ask." "That's fine." I say and we continue to drive listening to our surroundings. No music, just the other cars in our breathing. when we arrive at Tender Greens and sit down with our food I ask "now, what did you want to talk about?"
