Chapter 11: Like a Flower Dancing in the Night Sky

Cinque's POV

Cinque was carrying both Millhi and little fox to make a quicker escape for the three of them before the ground beneath them started collapsing. The ground in front of them collapsed before Cinque could make another jump.

Cinque (In thought): "This is bad... We're too far from the footholds leading to the fortress. But I have to get the Princess somewhere safe..." then he heard someone call his name

(Y/N): "Cinque!"

Eclair: "Hero!"

Ricotta: "Hero!"

Cinque: "That voice..."

Millhi: "Rico? Eclair?"

Eclair: "Sorry we're late, Princess!"

Ricotta: "We're here now!"

The three of them were riding on the back of Millhi's celkul, Harlan. Cinque and Millhi smiled at this and were happy to see their friends. When Harlan landed Cinque and Millhi ran over, and Cinque then saw (Y/N) slung over Harlan's back, badly injured and completely unconscious.

Cinque: "(Y/N)! What happened to him?!"

Eclair: "He landed pretty hard when we jumped off your board, get on quick, we'll get him to the medical room."

Cinque nodded and hopped onto Harlan. The rocks on the cliff sides began to break and fall to the ground, but Cinque and Millhi luckily got onto Harlan before they could get hurt.

Cinque: "Eclair, I'm glad you two are alright!"

Eclair: "Of course I am."

Eclair: "We did say we'd be right back."

Millhi turned around and began to speak to Ricotta.

Millhi: "Rico... It's really you..."

Ricotta: "Yes.. It really is.. I was on my way here when I happened to see Eclair and the Galette warrior falling... so I caught her and we put him on Harlan, and now we're here! She told me that our Princess and Hero were in trouble." she explained

Cinque: "I see!"

Ricotta: "Harlan! We're almost there! Don't give up!"

Brioche's POV

Brioche and Yukki arrived at the place where the demons sword had landed. It was still waving its spikes around. She had her sword ready and spoke.

Brioche: "Well, our Princess and hero certainly surprised us... to be able to defeat a demon under the power of the mystical sword."

Yukikaze: "I knew they could do it... Both the Princess and Cinque are actually pretty capable."

Brioche: "You're right... well now... we'll take over from here!"

Yukikaze: "Yes!"

The demons sword launched its spikes toward Yukki and Brioche and they managed to dodge all of them. Yukki readied her daggers and Brioche had her Odachi ready.

Yukikaze: "It is our duty to defeat enemy swords the threaten our world..." she said and her daggers started glowing. Many other dogs came with them and had daggers in their mouths that also began to glow. Then Yukki summoned a large circular symbol around the sword.

Yukikaze: "Across the land... over thousands of miles... fighting for our world for hundreds of years. Land god of the foxes, Yukikaze and the demon slaying sword fighter, Dalkian!"

The sword launched another spike toward Yukki and she summoned a shield to block it.

Yukikaze: "All the demons we've defeated in our journey... amount to five hundred and nine! Demons will not flourish in our world!" the dogs released the daggers from their mouths and they launched toward the sword spikes and stabbed into them.
