A NIGHT WITH HIM

I changed my clothes at the bathroom but not wearing that pink sleep wear. I have my own clothes.

"Where shall I sleep?" I looked at him making his bed. "I can't sleep with you in one bed."

"Why? It's not like I'm gonna do such things to you. You wouldn't allow!"

"Right. I wouldn't allow. Where am I gonna sleep?"

"You're not eating dinner? I'm gonna cook something downstairs."

"I'm tired. No thank you." I got my phone and earphones and played some songs.

"You sure?" I heard him but didn't answer. "Tsk. I hate you." He went out of the room.

"He doesn't remember me? Why did he let me stay here if I'm just a stranger to him?" I just shrugged it off and closed my eyes.

Author's POV

Taehyung went back to his room after his solo dinner and night routine. He saw Jennie sleeping on the carpet with her earphones attached to her ears.

"Aww... What a cutie." He removed her earphones and returned it back to her backpack with her phone.

He carried her to his bed and tucked her in. Because Jennie didn't want to sleep with him, he decided to sleep on the couch.

After a couple of hours, Jennie woke up, feeling very hungry. She found herself sleeping on his bed and saw him sleeping on the couch.

"He really gave me his bed.. Wow." Slowly, she stood up and tiptoed towards the door. She didn't want to wake sleeping Taehyung. "Where's the food? I'm so hungry."

She checked the dining table if ever he left something for her. But unluckily, she found nothing.

"Did he really eat everything? What a pig.." She checked the refrigerator and saw a cake. "Nice.. This is enough."

Hungry Jennie excitedly got the cake and searched for the bread knife and a plate.

"I rarely eat this back home. Mom would scold me if she finds out." She took a slice and ate. "This is so good." Jennie was about to eat another slice when she heard him.

"I thought you don't want to eat?" She froze. I thought he was sleeping, she thought. "Why do you look like that?"

"I saw you sleeping a while ago. You're awake!"

"I have insomnia. I actually saw you leave the bed quietly and tiptoed towards the door."

"What?" She widened her eyes at him making him laugh.

"Why? Feeling embarrassed?"

"No! Of course not! The heck are you talking about?" She denied but is obviously guilty.

She ate the whole slice and drank water. "Done already? I'm not here to stop you from eating. I wouldn't mind."

"Okay then." Jennie was happy to hear it since she was really hungry.

"If you plan to kill me with that knife, I'll be in my room...sleeping."

"Psh. I can't kill you with thi-" She stopped. "Wait. You know?!"

"Of course. Since you bumped me earlier. You think I'd forget about what happened?"

"You knew I was the one who attempted to kill you the whole time but you let me stay here?! What is up with you?"

"Tsk.. Just eat. I'm not forgetful like you anyway." Taehyung went back to his room.

"What did he mean by that?"
