BEST FRIEND

"Yah! I told you to stop crying. You shouldn't cry anymore. You're twelve right?" He sat beside his crying best friend. "You know I hate to see you cry."

"They hate me. They always make me feel that they never wanted me. I never felt that they are my parents."

"Aish. You always cry because of them. We're always here for you Nini. Don't  you ever forget that." He opened his arms widely. "Hug?"

She smiled and hugged him so tight. "Thanks Taetae."

"Save him. Please you have to! Tae.. I'm so sorry. I didn't know."

I brought him to the hospital. After what he said to me thirty minutes ago, I finally remembered them, him.

Can't believe I forgot about him. How come I didn't recognize him that day? How stupid!

If he doesn't wake up because of me, I don't know what I'd do.

I told the nurses to never tell him that I brought him here. I don't know how to act in front of him if he sees me.

I decided to go home and talk to my parents. "And now you're here. Did you do it? Did you kill him?"

"I can't. I tried to. But I can't."

"What?! Your father and I gave you one job! You failed! You are such a disappointment."

"How can I kil my best friend who understands me and cares for me, more than you guys do?! He was with me when you made me feel like a failure."

"Because you are really a failure. Go to your room. You can't leave unless we ask you to."

"Fine. You are always like that to me." I ran to my room and locked the door. "Nothing can keep me here for a long time."

I took a bath and changed my clothes. I got a little something from my memory box.

"I should give this to him." I sneaked out of our house and went back to the hospital. "Excuse me? Is patient Kim Taehyung still here?"

"Yes. You are the one who brought him here right?" I nodded. "He is still in his room."

"Okay. Thanks." I walked towards his room. "Hope he's not awake." I slowly opened the door and saw a sleeping taetae.

I sat beside him and looked at his face. He got more handsome actually. Good thing I only shot him on his right shoulder. I'm not that good in handling a gun.

"I'm sorry, Tae. If only I knew it was you. Get well soon, okay?" I took the little something out of my bag and put it in his hand. "I can't be with you while you're still here. I hope you'll forgive me."

"Jen?" I felt his hand on mine. I should leave.

"Bye Tae."

I stood up and left. At least I'm sure he's fine.
