SNEAK OUT

It's been a week since that incident happened. I never got to leave the house.  I got no news about what happened to Taehyung. Hope he's doing fine.

"Jennie?" It's mom. I quickly covered myself with my blanket and pretended as if I'm asleep. "I know you're awake."

"Leave me alone."

"Tsk. Jennie, don't be stubborn. All we wanted was for you to be tough and brave. You know that we only want what's best for you."

"What's best for me? Mom, when was abandoning my friends best for me? When was killing a person, my best friend best for me? Everything was best for you and dad. I did everything you asked me to. Yet you still see me as a failure. What kind of parents are you?"

"You still can't see the importance of your training. Jennie, we want you to know how to defend yourself. You're a girl. You're the daughter of a gang leader and an assassin. What would other people think if our daughter is a weak and sensitive girl?! It would affect our image."

"There you said it. You only care about your reputation. You never cared about my feelings. You never cared about my opinion.  You never cared about me."

"That's not true."

"Oh it's true. You see me as one of those group mates of yours. Not as your daughter."

"Jennie that's not true. We want to protect you!"

"Stop lying mom!  That's why I always turn to my friends when I have a problem. They help me and they never treated me the way you and dad did. They were my family until you took them away from me. They were everything that I have."

"You don't know what you're saying. You still can't understand us." She stood up and left.

"I would never understand you."

--Time skip; Night--

"Psst! Jen!" I quickly stood up and faced the window. "Jennie..!"

"The heck is he doing here?" I opened the window. "Why are you here? Are you okay? You're not supposed to go here. You just got shot by me. If dad finds out, you're dead."

"Aish. Let's talk later. Right now, you have to come with me."

"What? No. Why would I?"

"I'll explain later. Let's go." What is with him? I went out my window and went inside his car.

"What now?" He started the car and drove. "Yah! Taehyung! Are you crazy?! Where are we going?!"
