"Happy Birthday Jennie!" Her friends greeted her. The whole place was full of balloons and all of Jennie's favorite food were on the table.

"Woah.. You guys, did all these? How?"

"Well, not ALL of it. We asked for help of course." Said Rosé.

"But Jisoo and Jin planned for all of these. From the decorations to the food." Said Jungkook.

"And me and Kook decorated the place. With the help of my family's connections. Did you like it Jennie?" Asked Lisa with her eyes sparkling.

"I love it. I never had this kind of surprise before. Thank you.. Thank you so much!" They hugged each other and sat at the center to give their presents.

...

"And my gift..." Everyone's attention was on Taehyung. "Is... Okay I forgot to bring it."

"WHAT?! NOOO!!" They shouted.

"I was busy helping Lisa ang Jungkook with the decorations."

"Aish! Taehyung-ah!! It was the most important thing! You careless kid!" Jin shouted and smacked Tae's head.

"Guys relax. The gifts were not the most important thing. What's important for me is, you guys are with me on my special day. Thank you so much."

"Awweee!!"

Later that afternoon, when her  six friends already left, Taehyung called her. "If this is about your gift, I understand."

"No, I actually lied. I have my gift with me."

"Why didn't you say so? Are you being shy, Taetae? Come on, it was just the eight of us. There's nothing to be afraid of."

"I want to give it to you privately. Don't tell the others, okay?" He pulled out a little red box from his pocket.

"Hey! If you're trying to propose, let me remind you, we're kids!" She was just joking around and jokingly, he took it seriously.

"You mean you don't like me?" She just laughed at his words. Silly, she thought. "I thought you do!!"

"Yah! Quit joking! Stop shoving it into my face! So what if I like you?!" Now it's his turn to laugh. "Not funny."

"Okay, okay, I'll stop." He opened the little red box, revealing a pair of necklaces. One with the pendant'J' and one with 'T'. "And here's my gift."

He got the one with the letter 'T'and put it around her neck. "So, what does this mean?"

"Obviously, 'T' means Taehyung. So that you would always remember me. Don't lose this okay? I would really get mad at you."

"And what's the 'J' for?"

He took it out and put it around his neck. "'J' means Jennie. From now on, we both have to wear this everyday until we get married. Promise me."

"Why do I have to?"

"Because I say so. Promise?"

"Psh... Fine. I promise." Jennie said, smiling.
