Patton and Logan had been caught out in the rain, and so the couple shared a blue umbrella.
They stood in silence, waiting for the bus, which sadly had no shelter.
But suddenly, the quiet pitta patta of the the rain was drowned out by Patton's cheery voice, "yesterday's weather forecast predicted freezing rain. However, it turned out to be quite an ice day."
Logan turned to see Patton with a cheery and cheesy smile on his face, making Logan groan as he realised his boyfriend was serious.
"Hey do you know what the queen's favorite form of precipitation is?" Asked Patton.
Logan thought, rubbing his chin gently, "umm, no... what is-"
"The reign!" Laughed Patton.
Was he really thinking about marrying Patton, just to be bound to him- stuck listening to these god awful puns and dad jokes?!
"What's a weatherman's favourite reptile?"
"I don't know, that all depends on personal-"
"A blizzard!"
Logan sighed, "holy shit."
Patton smirked, his arm snaking around Logan's waist gently and pulled him close, "you remind me of a thunderstorm: positively striking."
Logan's face lit up, a bright red, just like a solanum lycopersicum. His face tinted with a blush, now held a smirk, "is there a rainbow today? I just found the treasure I have been searching for."
Patton gasped, "a pun infused pick up line? That's so my aesthetic!"
Logan smiled and kissed Patton's cheek, making the pun loving man blush and squeal.
