'What are you going to do now?' I asked.

'I don't know for sure. Maybe look for more auditions. I will be more careful in what I pick this time,' said she, a little somber. It was quite apparent that this incident was going to affect her for long, even if there would be no black mark on her resume.

'What about showreels?', I asked, 'Those are important if I remember right.'

She thought for a few moments, 'I guess you are right. I didn't really look it up. I completely forgot,' she said smiling.

I smirked.

'We have our old short films, maybe we can cut those into one showreel?' she asked.

'But they are old. Four years old. You sure about that?' it was true. We shot those when we had just gotten into college. It feels like its been ages since then and both of us might have developed our skills further.

'You want me to make a new one?' she asked bluntly.

'Preferably.'

She remained silent, thinking about something, preferably about what we just talked. 'We shall see. What about you? What have you been up to for the past two days?'

I quietly turned to my desk, picking up the story I had just written and handed it over to her.

'You write something already?' she exclaimed, taking the sheets. 'So fast!'

'Yup!' I said proudly.

'Okay, give me a few minutes.'

She took about fifteen minutes to complete my five-page work, although she seems to have taken a look at it rather closely. I had noticed her rereading a few lines and going through some sections carefully. Her intense reading made me kind of anxious.

'Okay,' she began as she put aside the pages, 'let's first talk about this story.'

I don't quite know what to make of that.

'Your grammar sucks. Like usual.'

Ouch! But true. If anything, grammar was my biggest enemy.

'But,' she paused for effect, 'the story... fantastic!'

The problem with Kaashi's review, it either sucks or it is on the verge of being brilliant, or at least that is what she makes it sound like. So, for now, it seems like I am on the good side.

'Where did you get this idea? Is, whatever told here, true about writing?' she asked.

'Let me answer your second question first. I am not sure. It is all from what I learned writing and some stuff I watched... or read of the internet,' I replied.

'Well, it does make a lot of sense,' she said, looking rather impressed.

'As for your first question, remember the time we used to talk about stories, like a lot of stories?'

She thought for few seconds, 'we talk all the time about this stuff.'

She wasn't wrong to be honest, 'way back! When we first started talking.'

'Ah yes!' she remembered. A big smile appeared on her face. 'From there?'

'Sort of, I thought about writing that but there wasn't much substance to it. So a bright idea came to my head suddenly, what if I was pitching a story to you. I slowly built on that.'

'Cool!' she exclaimed, 'but, this is not what I really expected you to write.'

I was confused, 'what do you mean?'
