Glory and Deathbringer were walking around the RainWing village. It was quiet. Which normally would be odd, except it was Suntime. As they walked, the regular noises of the forest were heard. Although everything seemed peaceful, the truth was soon to be uncovered.
A growl was heard, and before Deathbringer could react a blur of white had tackled Glory.
Glory reacted, baring her deadly fangs. Before she could use her venom, her bodyguard had tackled the IceWing off of her. As soon as he was off her, the fight was on. Black and white clashed. The commotion had caused some RainWings to come over from the platforms.
Whoosh! Deathbringer grunted in pain.
Hearing her bodyguard in pain sent Glory into attack mode. She tackled the IceWing and sent him flying off of Deathbringer.
The IceWing was soon pinned down by several RainWings and NightWings. Glory turned to Deathbringer and noticed him holding his arm.
"What happened?"
"Uh, nothing." Glory gave him one of her famous looks. Deathbringer rolled his eyes but showed her his arm. It had a white sheen and was slowly turning black. Frost breath. Glory gasped when she saw it. "You need to go to the healers! Now!" Deathbringer's eyes widened at her concerned tone. "I'll be fine." He told her.
But, as usual, Glory wasn't taking no for an answer. "You're going, even if I have to drag you there." Glory responded without her usual sarcasm. Deathbringer sighed and nodded. He turned and began limping towards the healer's hut. Glory watched him leave. She wished she could be going with him but she had to stay and deal with the IceWing.
As Deathbringer reached the healer's hut he heard a sound. His ears perked and he looked around with his assassin sweep. Something shot him in the neck. Then, everything went black...
