Mom back?

Chapter 11- Mom back?

Two days. That's how long we spent planning to get my mom back. We knew we wouldn't be enough to break into the rouges house so Susan got some her best friends to help us. They were loyal only to her and swore they wouldn't tell Rebecca about it anyways. I haven't seen her since the fight. I don't think she would like me anyways. I just hurt her first love and it's obvious that she still has feelings for her.

Today we were going to get out mom back. I told Logan and Alex to stay in the hiding spot in the basement. I found out that this house used to be an old pack house. It had tunnels leading out or to a room. It has enough food for them until we get back. We were taking Susan, Star, Carly, Katrina, John, Parish, and Danny. They are all good fighters.

We shifted and ran. We ran all day and night. It took about three days if you count the rest stops. We rested about a half a mile run away to the house.

"So we're just grabbing your mom and leaving?" Parish asked. He seemed very skittish at times of violence. I don't get how he can be a warrior.

"Yeah." Lily answered. We started the run after another hour. We stopped and climed into the trees surrounding the house. We stayed there until nightfall. A few rouges came out but never caught our scent. All the lights were off when we jumped out of the trees. I could see Star and Danny relax as they touched the ground.

"Are you guys afraid of heights?"
"What?! Yeah right!" they say while the rest of us try to hold in our laughs.

"Okay let's go." They immediately sober up and follow me. I put an illusion around us to make us look invisible. "You guys, avoid touching any rouges." They all said yes.

Lily led the way as I stood behind guarding our party. A rouge came out of a room. His hands were full of blood that smelled like my mother. I held back a growl. He left the hall leaving the door partly open. Lily put her finger to her lips indicating to us to stay quiet. She pushed it in slowly. We all walked in and stopped at the scent of wolfsbane and silver. My mom laid on a surgical table, her hands and feet strapped down and her body covered with blood. She was barely conscious. I dropped the illusion.

"Mom?" her head mover slightly. I stepped forward because none of the others could without weakening. "Mom are you okay?" I looked at her face brushing away her hair from her face.

"Lu..." it wasn't even a whisper. She was weak. She had a half dead look in her eyes.

"Mom were going to get you out." I start to unstrap her.

"Lu go." She says slowly and her breathing becoming more labored. "They want to get you"
"I know but we are not leaving you." I pick her up. "Please stay awake.Logan and Alex are waiting for you." Her mouth twitches a little into a curved smile.
"Mom." Lily says her voice cracking.

I place the illusion around all of us again as we walk out a growl pierces the air. We all run. The illusion drops as we were caught. A wolf jumped onto Star. She flipped them over and knocked him out with one blow. We continued to run away from the land. A few wolves tried to run after us but we got away pretty quickly. My mom had passed out while we were running.

"That's it?" John asked. "I thought there would be more fighting."
"Well we were just supposed to sneak in and grab my mom. We asked you guys for help because we weren't sure of we needed any." Lily said. We rented a motel and it inside the room in a hurry. I placed mom on the bed while the rest went to check the food or the bathrooms. I checked her injuries. She had minor burns on her wrists and gigantic bruises on her body. As I looked closer I could see the different colors. From purple, green, to a grayish blue color. She also had many scars. I healed her. Well most of her. I took away her burns and worst bruises. Small welts and bruises formed and my arms. And a dull throb appeared in my head. I checked her head. She had a faint scar because I had healed her. Lily came to us.
