Day 9
Annabella.
Jonathan and I
Sat together in class
He told me
About his family life
A small bit
Of what it's like
He's the oldest
He has to take care
Of everyone
He has a younger sister
And his dad walked out
Of their lives after she was born
He was six
And often wondered
About calling the random guys
His mom brought in the house
"Daddy"
I could sense the resentment
Towards the men
But
He has a special
Glint in his
eyes
When he talks about his mom
I can feel the love their
I think that's adorable
He says he's the man of the house
And he puffed out his chest
He says football is his wife
And he wishes he could take the football to Vegas
And marry it one day
I laughed
And he smiled at me
I asked him why
He smiled
And said "Your laugh is cute"
I tried not to smile
But did anyways
I couldn't help but notice
People stared at us
They were watching us
But what else would I expect
He's perfection
An he's talking to me
Now that's something
That's actually interesting
I would stare at us too
He asked me about my home life
I just stared at him
I found that I never
Thought much of his eye color
I never noticed it
Until now
It's a stormy blue
It's not nice
Or inviting
It's dominating
And unforgiving
I loved them
And I could feel myself
Feeling something for him
And his stormy eyes
And just when
I was going to tell him
About home
The teacher
Mr. Collins
Told us "Stop talking"
And I couldn't help but smile
Because that's exactly what
We were doing
Finally talking
And I liked it
No
I loved it
