Annabelle
Nick is cute
He laughs all the time
He's happy
And he smiles
Like he is the star
In a Colgate commercial
He has dimples...
They remind me of
Someone
But I'd rather not say
He asked me
About my home life
And I told him
Honestly
I felt as if a weight
Was off my chest
His eyes seem to be
Brighter
Every day I see him
He makes me want
To smile
He makes me want to laugh
He makes me want
To stop caring
About a crush
In the past
We talked about
My dad
He didn't give me
That look
That says "I pity you"
It made me appreciate
Him
Even more
He just listened
Intently
Nodded and gave me
The eye contact I needed
As he held me
In his arms
Sometimes
He holds me too tight
A little tighter
When he sees stormy eyes
Come into view
I don't mind often
But last time
I had a bruise
On my arm
I lightly touched it
The large purple mark
He kissed it gently
He always seems warm
Inviting
Loving
And kind
But I had to hide the
Bruise under a long sleeve shirt
So my mom wouldn't see
She thinks Nick
Is cute
He is...
