Octavia knew that coming to the police station was a waste of time. How could she have even taken a photo whilst sitting in the dentists' chair? Her dentist already thought she was strange already.

Why had she been so stupid to think that the police would believe her and start searching? Who would believe two teenage girls? No one.

She thought that maybe Ellen Cody would have bothered to believe them, but she seemed set on evidence being needed.

"Can't you keep an eye on Drew Hillister? He was with her." Octavia blurted out, as Valentina nodded. "And he's been following us." Valentina added, looking at Miss Cody.

Miss Cody shook her medium length brown hair and smiled sadly at the girls. "His alibi fits, he has nothing to do with Aurelia." She said, much to the girls dismay. "And what's more, he was seen at Greenfield's corner shop yesterday trying to shoplift beer."

Octavia sunk back into the rock hard chair she was sitting on. Why had they bothered in the first place? And Drew was definitely there yesterday, she'd seen him and Aurelia with her own eyes.

She looked at Valentina, who was biting her lip worriedly. She sighed and turned to Octavia,

"O, are you sure you saw Drew and Aurelia?" Valentina asked Octavia. Octavia felt a red, hot anger blaze through her, now her best friend didn't even believe her.

"Why would I lie, Valentina?" Octavia shouted, gripping her hands together. "I know what I saw." Valentina looked away, and Octavia noticed that she looked almost embarrassed to be there with her.

Miss Cody sat further up her chair and put her hands in front of each other. "It's perfectly natural to hallucinate after the death of a loved one." Octavia felt tears prick her eyes, no one understood her, and now they thought she was bat-shit crazy.

Octavia couldn't stand another second in the claustrophobic room, and stormed out, leaving Valentina to run after her. When she was outside, she sat on a bench, the rain ruining her hair; but she couldn't care less.

She put her damp head in her hands and started to cry. At first, Octavia pretended that she was crying for Aurelia, because she missed her so much; but in actuality, she was crying for an even more pathetic reason - for herself.

Octavia watched through her hands as Valentina came running out of the police station, desperately searching for her. Octavia sunk down into the bench, and pulled her plain black hoodie over her head.

When Valentina seemed to have given up, she pulled out her iPhone and seemed to dial a number. Octavia froze, if she phoned her, her phone would go off and Valentina would see her.

But to her dismay, Valentina didn't call her.

"We need to talk Drew. Don't do it. Don't." Valentina paused and turned around to see if anyone was listening to her. "I can't be responsible."

Octavia's blood ran cold. What if Valentina had been lying to her the entire time? Come to think of it, her tears did seem somewhat fake and she'd been smiling at everyone lately; not like her.

Oh God, Octavia thought, What if she kidnapped Aurelia?
