Jonah's POV

Veronica has been on a scavenger hunt the past one week , she hasn't backed out.

She has literally made it her life goal to find me the girl of my dream her words not mine.

The funny thing is the whole week I've spend time with Veronica and sometimes her friend Ashley , I've gotten so close to roni.
It feels like we've known each other since we were kids or something.

"This or this?" Ashley asked veronica.

"Definitely the second one ,it'll make boys want to devour you" she stated.

"What do you think?" She asked me.

"It looks good" i replied not bothering to look up from my phone.

I could see roni rolling her eyes.

"Keep Rolling your eyes , Maybe you'll find your brain someday" i told her trying hard to hold back a laugh.

"Atleast i have a brain , not sure about you" she shot back.

"Your burn game is shitty" i honestly told her.

"Your face is shitty"

"Roasted" Ally replied while laughing.

Rolling my eyes i got up and started walking out the store.

"Now who's the one rolling their eyes?" She said loud enough for the whole mall to hear her.

A slight smile made its way up my face , this girl will be the death of me one day.

Zach's POV

Being back home sucks , i have to act nice which is not in my nature.

I asked roni how her week went and she told me that jonah and her hit it off , i was glad that she didn't embarrass herself or me infront of him.

Today i will ask her out on a date , she had went shopping with Ashley and im waiting for her to come back.

"Your back" i said.

"Well why wouldn't i?" She asked.

"Nvm , get ready we are going out" i told her with room for no argument.

"What!! Where? When?" She kept asking.

"On a date" with that i left and started getting ready.

After thirty minutes i was down waiting for her to come , i heard heels clicking on the tiles.

Looking up i saw the most breathtaking sight , she wore a beautiful black gown that had slits on both side , her hair was in curls and the way she was walking was just unbelievable.

"Shall we?" I asked taking her hand in mine.

"Whats the occasion? Why the sudden change?" she asked.

"I want to start fresh , i think we should make this work" i told her.

"Ya ok" she almost whispered.

We were seated in the restaurant , i ordered for the both of us.

I brought my hand infront and spoke.

"Hi I'm zach herron amd you are?"

"What are you doing?" she asked giggling.

"I did tell you i want to start fresh and for this to work"

With a nod she brought her hand in front and shook mine while replying.

"And my name is veronica Black ,it's nice to meet you" she ended with a smile.
