"There you are" said Ashlyn.

"Zach told me that you were looking for me-"

"Yes, now help me" she cut me off mid sentence.

"Behind you" came a husky voice, his scent was musky and strong almost made my knees weak.

I turned around to find a dashing jonah , he was out shining the crowd,with his good looks and well built body , he looked like sex on legs.

"Jojo" i squealed and hugged him tightly.

"What now?" He asked confusion written on his face.

"So when did you arrive?" Ashlyn asked him.

"Thirty minutes ago , been looking for roni and Zach"

"And you sir look devilishly handsome, doesn't he Ashlyn?" I turned towards my best friend and smiled widely,it's time to play cupid.

"Uh yes" she replied, a blush appearing on her cheeks.

"Jonah i will go find Zach , in the meantime why don't you dance with Ashlyn?" I ran off not hearing his reply.

Well this is going to be fun, i wonder if it is weird to think if they will fuck because i ship.

Ashlyn's POV

"Sooo" well this is getting awkward.

I wanted roni to stay and help, not ditch and run leaving me in an awkward situation.

"Do you wanna dance?" He asked me.

Sighing i asked him if i knew her or if she is famous and once again i got a single word answer 'yes'

"I guess you can call her famous, kind of" he continued.

"Do you love her?" I asked , my tone saddened at the thought of him liking someone else.

"Half way there" he replied deep in thought.

"She must be beautiful then" i stated.

"Very" he whispered.

"Does she know you're in love with her?" i kept shooting questions at him, i was.... jealous.

"No she's taken , married"

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that" i was not sorry , i was jumping from the inside.
I was trying so hard to suppress a smile but was failing.

"you can let go now" he told me ,bringing me back to reality.

"Huh, what?" I asked dumbfounded.

"The dance is over" he said pointing around the ballroom.

"right" i movedmy head up and down.

Jonah's POV

After thinking for a while the conclusion that i came up with was that she likes me.

Her body language said it all ,and the worst part is that i can't even tell her that i don't like her because she's the best friend of a woman i lov-like .

I left her standing in the middle of the room,trying to find roni.
