Wake-up

"Detective... Wakey wakey." I felt my head being cradled by his hands.

I had another vision. He was holding my head..  but it wasn't attached to my body.

"NO! STOP!" I sat up extremely disturbed by what I saw and I was panting.

"Detective. You're all awake and fine yes? So spill." Lucifer was still holding me.

"S-spill what?" I knew exactly what he was talking about.

"You know what I'm talking about."

At that moment all the different sights rushed back to me and I burst out crying.

I broke from his comforting grasp. It was like breaking a piece of my heart away.

And I ran.

I kept going despite his calls. I suddenly realised he was running after me.

This was going to be painful. Especially because I was in love with him.

But I did it anyway. I cut a corner. It went wrong. I hit a dead end.

Lucifer closed in on me. He approached me like a wild animal.

"You're okay...I'm here.. I'll protect you..." He looked at me with sympathy.

I realised that the fence above had spikes on it. But it was worth the risk. I didn't want him to know what was going on.

He smiled at me.

"So can you tell me-"

"NO!"

I jumped on the bin and leaped up onto the fence.

A spike hit my side.

Then I saw something. Another vision.

I was impaled by a spike and I was....dead...

I dropped to the other side with a cry of pain.

"Detective!"
