Burning Building

"Okay. We've also got some evidence inside that tall tower block. Apparently a bloodied brick was found in there." Ella pointed up to the big building.

"Okay. Up we go Detective."

I wasn't paying attention.

"Detective!"

"Hmm? What yeah? Ohhh right up we go... Ahaha..." I smiled awkwardly and started walking to the building.

Once we were inside everything was a blur.

As soon as we got up to the second floor an alarm went of. I was in the middle of something though. Another vision.

I was locked in the building as flames came closer. Lucifer was outside laughing.

"Detective! DETECTIVE WE NEED TO GO!" But by the time I was out of the trance flames were sweeping towards us.

Lucifer automatically stepped in front of me to protect me from the flames.
I screamed as a spark flew at my face.
"We need to go!"
"But the fire had spread too much and everyone's already gone!"

"Well if you were paying attention!"

"I CAN'T STOP THEM! THEY WON'T STOP! IT'S NOT MY FAULT! THEY WON'T GO AWAY!!"

Lucifer looked at me. I said too much.. but he was interrupted by a flame shooting at my face.

"Do you trust me?!"

"..In theory!"

"Then close your eyes!"

I was swept up from my feet. I remember being hit by a flame and trying to pat my head and stop the flame.

Then it all went blank.
