~POV:Lucas~
Lucas has heard many things about Ultimate Boarding School. This school was on an island quite a few miles out from the mainland continent. Under 70 students went to this school to study. He couldn't remember the exact amount.

This was a special school for special students. Lucas wasn't sure if "special" was meant in a good way. He almost felt like this was his father trying to get rid of him. Neither of them were the same after Hinawa's death and Claus' disappearance. Lucas says "disappearance", but he knows Claus is gone forever. He's with their mother now.

Lucas tried to relax on the boat ride to the school. Thoughts of Claus and Hinawa haunted his mind if he had too much free time. He tried to push away those thoughts and look around at his soon to be fellow pupils.

They were all on a large, some would even say luxury, ship. There wasn't a pool or anything like that, but there was a large table of food and drink just for the students on the bottom floor. The circular seating tables were all covered with a fine white cloth. Surrounding the tables were comfortable chairs that were made just for the students. Almost all the chairs were filled and the rest of the students were getting their meals.

Lucas' heart beat faster and faster as he approached the room. He didn't know anyone. Not a single familiar face in the crowd. He felt his stomach doing flips. This was going to be just like his previous school, wasn't it? Getting relentlessly bullied and teased. The only difference would be that everyone would have a fancy uniform on while they did it.

"Hey, are you alright?" A voice broke through his train of thought. It sounded concerned.

Lucas whipped his head around to face the person who asked the question. It was a boy with facial features similar to his. His black hair was almost completely hidden by the red and blue baseball cap he wore. Lucas couldn't help but notice how dark the boy's eyes were.

"Uh...Y-yeah," Lucas shakily responded. I bet I just made this conversation worse, he thought.

"Are you new here? I've never seen you before." He asked.

"I-I'm new here. This is my first time-"

"Oh my bad! I forgot to introduce myself," the boy interrupted. "I'm Ness. Nice to meet you."

"L-Lucas..."

"Well, Lucas, since you just got here, want to sit at my table?"

"Thank you," Lucas quickly responded.

"It's no problem."

Lucas breathed a sigh of relief. He wouldn't have to stand there like an awkward freak.
