A/N: basically what would have happened if Peter had said to being an Avengers at the end of Homecoming cuz I still think he should of. Also, Avengers are back together now because they are civilized people who can fucking talk things out like adults

Peter stood next to Mr. Stark, practically shaking with nervousness and buzzing with excitement. Mr. Stark had sent Happy to get him, so it must be important. He watched in amazement as a metal spider suit appeared, and Mr. Stark asked him to join the Avengers. His heart jumped to say yes immediately, but his brain stopped it for a moment. Was this really what he wanted? He wanted to be a hero, but he still wanted to help the little guy too.
"Can I still do patrols?"
"Of course Peter. I want you to do patrols still. And you can stay in school, but I would want you staying at the tower since when for your protection. We can set your aunt up with a long vacation or a new place to stay."
Peter thought over Mr. Stark's words carefully. It would be good for his aunt to get some time alone, and he wanted to join the Avengers.
"Okay, let's do this!"
Tony smiled and put away the metal suit, saying that they should use the normal one for the introduction. Peter quickly put on his suit, absolutely beaming. He went out into the room full of reporters and was suddenly very glad Karen at already blocked out some of the light and noise. Tony introduced him as the newest Avenger, Spiderman. They started taking questions, and the first one they answered was who Spiderman really was. Peter took off his mask and spoke into the microphone.
"Hi, my name is Peter Parker."
He waved awkwardly and put the mask back on to block out some of the sensory input. They took a few more questions before Tony ushered him off the stage, telling him that it was time to go meet the Avengers. He walked next to the man, excitedly rambling all the way up to the living room, where all the Avengers sat. He froze in shock for a moment, and Tony had to drag him along. He finally snapped out of it to see all the eyes of the Avengers staring at him. Finally, Steve seemed to break and just asked.
"Who is this Tony? And why is he in our living room?"
"Guys, meet our new teammate, Spiderman. Otherwise known as Peter Parker."
Peter took off his mask right on cue, and there were a lot of gasps when the Avengers saw his young face.
"Tony! This is a kid!"
"So was Wanda when she first joined! And it's a kid with superpowers, and who is probably stronger than all of you."
Peter awkwardly smiled and waved, hoping this would be over quickly so he could go on patrol.
"Hi! I'm Peter! Yes, I am underage, but do have crazy superpowers that mean I am still useful."
Peter puts up a confident front and flips onto the ceiling, still smiling. He found acting like a spider always felt better than acting like a human, so he was pretty much on the ceiling whenever he could be.
"Well, welcome to the team Peter. There's food in the fridge, and movie nights are every Friday!"
