Why is Spiderman A Kid? Part 2

So it was requested I do a part 2 of this, so here you go.

When Peter woke the next time, he was a bit calmer. He tried to collect his memories, remembering everything could. He was fighting with Mr. Stark. He had just helped web the big guy's leg as he was hit and sent flying to the ground. He had laid there, forgotten by Tony. He remembered hearing footsteps far off, then coming closer. Then it disappeared. His only memory from after that was waking up to Black Widow comforting him. 

Peter peeled his eyes open only to see Natasha sitting in a chair not far from his bed. When Natasha saw him awake, she put down her book and walked over to the bed.

"Hey, Peter glad to see you awake and calm again. Let's get some food in you. While we do that we work on getting you home." 

Peter nodded and got up, hissing softly when he put pressure on his leg. Sure he had accelerated healing but it had only been a day and a half. 

"I don't think so. Stay in bed, I'll go get you something."

Too tired and in pain to protest, Peter laid back down, letting his thoughts drift along when Natasha made the boy a sandwich. When she got back and handed it to the boy. 

"Why aren't exactly in Queens right now. I had to take you by jet back to America, but we are still pretty far off and you can't swing in your condition. You could either stay here until you feel good enough to swing or try to get a flight or bus back to Queens."

Peter nodded, thinking. He could always stay here for a little bit. Tony could tell May the retreat ran later than expected. With food and rest, he would be able to swing back in two days anyway.

"I think I'll stay here until I can swing. If that's okay of course."

Natasha nodded, glad the spider decided to stay. She would be lying if she said the child hadn't grown on her a little bit, with his curly brown hair and puppy dog eyes. 

"It is fine, you should stay in bed for now, but with your enhanced healing it shouldn't be long until you can walk."

It had been a week, and Peter was fully healed. Well, Peter had been fully healed for days now, but he didn't really want to leave. Laura and Natasha were nice, and the Barton kids were fun to play with. He knew he should go home, but one more day with his spider momma couldn't hurt.

Yeah, it's not very long, but I actually kinda like it. I can see Peter getting a bit over-attached to his spider mom and forgetting about May for a little bit, but we all know Peter will come back to his Aunt pretty soon.
