A/N: So we hit 2k reads! That is amazing! I never thought people would actually read my stuff, so this is really exciting! This chapter is from a prompt sent in by @GirlOfDarkness1037. Peter lives in the tower with the Avengers. Post endgame, but Nat and Tony are alive because fuck you and Steve isn't old because fuck you. Not all of this is gonna be perfect since I haven't taken my service dog to school yet, but Ima try my best.
TW: Panic attacks, PTSD, scratching, bullying, Flash just being a dick in general

Peter stood in the kitchen, double-checking he had everything he could possibly need. It was the end of fall break, and it was also the first day his service dog would be coming to school with him. His 60-pound female greyhound named 'Evie' sat close by, watching him intently. Peter was pretty confident she would do perfect at school, but there was still so much that could go wrong. He had worked out the schedule with the principal, made sure the dog was on his IEP so they couldn't deny him, and packed a small bag full of dog supplies for Evie, but was still panicking slightly. Evie came trotting over and pawed at his leg, making his focus turn to her so he would calm down. Peter took a deep breath and finished his packing. He grabbed Evie's lime green vest with 'do not pet' and 'PTSD service dog' patches on it, making sure it was clear what Evie's job was. He grabbed his hands-free lead and wrapped it around his waist before attaching the other end to Evie. Evie was wearing her vest and a small grounding handle that Peter could hold onto the ground himself to reality. Peter flung his backpack and Evie bag over his shoulders and walked into the elevators. He went down to the bottom and floor and got in Happy's car, who drove him to school while the boy rambled out how the day was supposed to go and Evie laid silently next to Peter.

When the pulled up the school, Peter unclipped the leash and made Evie stay while he set out of the car and went around to the other side. He opened the door and called for Evie to come, who happily followed the command, jumping out of the car and sitting down next to Peter. Peter reclipped the leash to her vest and began his way up the school steps. He couldn't help but noticed how the students stared and whispered, some trying to reach out and pet Evie. Peter just quickly maneuvered through the crowds and to his locker. He was glad to see Flash wasn't waiting at his locker for him. He put Evie in a block position behind him so she would alert him of anyone walking up behind him that could startle him since his spider-sense only told him of danger. Evie stood in her place while Peter dumped off his bag, grabbing the books he would need for his first class and Evie's bag. A few students stopped to ask him questions and try to pet Evie, but Peter kept brushing them off, hiding his annoyance at how bad the students did at having a service dog around. He shut his locker and let Evie fall into a heel before walking straight to class. He was glad he taught Evie to walk in such a tight heel, or this would not be easy. The noise of the hallways was irritating, and Evie licked his hands lightly to help ground him. He grabbed the grounding handle and continued his way to his first class. He sadly didn't share it with Ned or MJ, but he did have it with Flash. After Infinity war Flash had really only gotten worse and still liked to pick on him about everything. Peter tried to walk straight to his seat so he could get Evie situated but was stopped by the teacher who looked angry.
"Peter, I can't allow you to have a dog in this classroom."
Peter's brain went silent for a moment, then a nudge from Evie made his autopilot response the being denied access spill out.
"You legally have to allow me to have this dog here. She is my task trained service dog and under the ADA she is allowed here. Allergies or fear of dogs are not reasons to deny me access. If you have a problem with it again you may speak to the principal about it."
And with that Peter walked to a seat in the back so Evie would have more space. He got a seat in the corner and set down his books and plopped down on his chair. He put Evie in a down-stay, but that didn't last long because the teacher spoke up.
"Okay Mr. Parker, how about you come introduce us to your new companion."
Peter hesitated to get out of the seat, he hands shaking slightly. Evie got up and placed her head in Peter's lap, providing pressure to calm him. He told Evie off and got out of his seat, Evie following.
"This is my service dog, Evie. She will be attending school with me from here on out."
Peter quickly scurried back before the teacher could try to make him take questions. He heard Flash's whispers about how he must be faking being disabled for attention, and how he couldn't have a real service dog because he wasn't blind. He let out a quiet whimper and turned to Evie, who was staring at him intently from her down-stay. He turned back to the teacher, who had luckily started the lesson. It was social studies, one of his least favorite classes. He just found it boring. Then he heard a familiar word, Thanos. His body went rigid, and Evie jumped up from her down-stay and pawed at him. He relaxed a bit but paid more attention. They were talking about the dustings and the fights. It felt hard to breathe and Evie put her arms up on Peter's lap and put pressure down, licking his hands and arms to help him ground. Peter absentmindedly pet her zoning out to avoid listening to the lecture. He was interrupted by a loud voice calling out to him.
"Mr. Parker? Would you like to explain why your service dog is laying on your lap? The dog needs to stay on the floor if I am going to allow it in this room."
Peter's breath hitched and Evie nudged him, alerting to rising panic levels.
"Sir, that's not your decision. And if you must know Evie is tasking. AKA doing her job."
"Likely excuse Penis! Everyone knows you are faking a service dog for attention! You're just a loser orphan!"
Peter curled in on himself and clutched onto the grounding handle. Evie licked his face to get rid of the tears that started falling as he started going into an attack. Peter got down to the floor where Evie laid across his chest and stopped him from scratching at himself as he hyperventilated and went in and out of flashbacks. To Peter, it felt like hell, but having Evie was helping. His classmates and teacher just stood in shock as Evie did her job perfectly, having Peter out of his attack in 5 mintues. It would still take a while to fully recover, but his flashbacks were gone and he felt like he could breathe better. He shakily got to his feet and stuttered out.
"That's why I have a service dog. I have PTSD and anxiety, she helps ground me during attacks. Now I have to go to the nurse and rest because you fuckers triggered me. I'll be back."
Peter walked out, stuck between laughing and crying. Evie licked his hand once, and he decided on laughing his way to the nurse.

A/N: I know this is way longer than my normal chapters, but I wanted to do someone special for 2k reads. Also, service dogs are easy for me to write about because I am a service dog handler, but mine is yet to go the school with me so this is probably not perfect.
