Feeling a bit hot and thirsty, Jungkook wakes up and gets out of bed.

When he opens the door, he see's something least expected. You're on the floor outside the door, curled into a ball fast asleep. Jungkook feels bad, he feels bad to see you like this. He's almost regretting his decision.

He sighs and carries you in bridal style and walks back into the room, he lays you down on the bed and covers you with the blanket.

You shift a bit, your hair falling onto your face. Jungkook gently removes the hair away from your face. The moon light seeping through the window illuminates everything.

Jungkook's about to leave when you grab his hand making him startled and look at you.

"Sleep with me, please." You mumble sleepily. Jungkook doesn't know what to do. He swore he thought he felt his heart flutter.

"J- just now." He says, you let go of his arm allowing him his freedom.

Jungkook dashes out of the room and into the bathroom. He splashes cold water onto his face. Then memories from the past start flooding in.

Flashback

"Eomma, why did you leave appa?" Little Jungkook asked his mother.

"I'm sorry Jungkook, I can't tell you." The woman smiled gave him a sad smile. Jungkook frowned. He didn't understand, why would his mother leave his father? They were happy together...weren't they?

He looked out the window of the moving car, frowning as he saw everything go by as the car drove pass them.

"Jungkook, say hello to your new appa." Jungkook's mother introduced him to her soon to be husband.

The man smiled warmly at Jungkook.

"Hello Jungkook, I've heard so much about you." He attempted to reach out for the boy, but Jungkook backed away.

"No! He's not my appa!" Jungkook shouted, making both his mother and step father frown.

"Jungkook, behave." His mother sternly said. Jungkook's lips quivered. His eyes shining as tears started to invade them.

"But eomma...he's not my appa!" Jungkook tugged on the woman's sleeve.

"Please let's go back home...i miss my appa." Jungkook pleaded. The woman's heart felt sore, she knew she couldn't. She got down on one knee to reach her sons height.

"Jungkook, we can't." She removed his bangs from his eyes.

"Why!" Jungkook asked, his nose red from all the crying.

"I'm afraid I can't tell you that, not now...I promise when the times right I'll tell you...okay?" She kissed his forehead.

"Jungkook, this is Y/n, you're new sister." His mother introduced them to each other with a smile on her face, but Jungkook scowled at the little girl. He felt hatred towards her, towards his new 'father'.

'You're the reason why my eomma left my appa...' He thought. "I hate you!" He screamed at the little girl and ran off, his mothers eyes widened along with his step fathers.

"Jungkook!"

Jungkook's eyes showed hatred. He stared at his reflection in the mirror, he poked the inside of his cheek with his tongue—something he does when he's angry.

"I hate you Y/n. So much." He says with a venomous voice, his voice laced with so much hatred.

Till today, he never knew the reason why his mother left his father. His father was his superhero, his best friend. Jungkook was only 7 when his parents got divorced, and now he's 22 and his mother still won't tell him the reason.

He didn't know if you were the reason or not. But he hated you, a lot.

Walking back into the room, his eyes fall on your sleeping figure. He slips into the covers of the bed, at the far end of it. To have a good amount of space between the two of you.

Tomorrow he would show you the hatred he had for you. Now he needed to rest.

You turn around to his side in your sleep and get closer to him. Soon, you were right next to him, cuddling into his side. Opening his eyes he looks at your sleeping form with furrowed eyebrows.

"What the..." He trails off, he sighs and closes his eyes again.

He wanted to push you away, but he decided to leave you.
