CLAUDIA'S POV
I sat there, holding on to my dads lifeless hand.
"Please wake up dad, I need you. I need you now more than ever. Please dad." What happened? Everything in life was perfect and now I don't want to live.
A nurse came in.
"Sweetie are you alright?" She asked rubbing my back.
"Yea yea I'm fine." I said wiping the tears away. None of my friend or family were here to comfort me. With no one to talk to I think I'm gonna explode.
I tried ringing brit, no answer typical. I tried Luke, no answer. I ended up ringing the rest of the boys and no one picked up. Where are they? They know I need them and they don't even want to pick up their fucking phone. Brittany should be coming back in at least a couple days, to see dad. I hope so.
BRITTANY'S POV
We boarded the plane. The worst possible thoughts were going through my mind. I didn't know the full details of what was going on with andy but I know he's in serious trouble. Luke and I sat next to eachother, we couldn't see Jai anywhere. Luke grabbed my hand.
"Everything is gonna be ok, I promise." He said to me. I rested my head on his shoulders, praying he was right.
I woke up and the plane was about to land. Being home was weird even though we hadn't landed yet, I felt my past creeping back into my mind.
"I'm so thankful and glad I met you Luke." I said in a tired voice my head still on his shoulder.
"Same here babe." He kisses my head. We landed. We rushed to get a cab to the hospital. Our cab driver was foreign so he didn't care we had one too many people.
I needed to see Claudia, I needed to see Andy.
CLAUDIA'S POV
I haven't moved all day. I haven't eaten or slept. I keep watching my dad, I don't want to miss it if he wakes up. The nurse kept on checking on me, I eventually snapped at her, I'm so tired and upset, I got angry at someone who was trying to help me.
I heard a knock on the door. I turned around knowing the nurse came back. I stood up about to cry, seeing all my best friends here. Brittany gave me a massive hug.
"Clauds." She said crying. She picked up my arm. "These are fresh." She gave me a disapproving look. "I'm sorry, I wasn't here for you." She hugged me crying her eyes out. Then she went over to dad. Luke came up to me giving me a hug, "he's not here Claud, I'm sorry, we asked him." Luke said. "Don't worry I wasn't expecting him to."
He knew what had happened and didn't come. Now I know he never really did care about me.
Skip hugged me and kissed me on the cheek. Then Beau then James. To be honest I blocked out everything everyone was saying, I couldn't think, I couldn't my head wrapped around anything anymore.
"Us boys will leave you two alone with your dad." Beau said.
Brit and I were on either side of my dad.
"Is the dick who did this getting arrested?" She asked, her eyes filled with anger more than sadness.
"He will be charged will attempted murder but it will be worst if he ." I start to choke
"Whether he lives or not?
"Yea." I said crying.
"The day after you left, I confronted Jai." Brittany said, I hadn't heard anyone say his name for awhile.
I looked up at her shocked. Brittany isn't one to speak her mind when she's angry a someone, meaning she's scared of confrontation.
"What?" I asked.
"I couldn't stand the thought of him hurting you. I went to her hotel, he was there and I yelled shit at him." Her hotel.
"Did you see her?" I asked.
"No."
Suddenly I heard a ringing noise, the heart monitor was flatlining. Brittany and I both jumped off our seats.
I held on to dad for my life and brittany ran into the corridor screaming for help.
No this couldn't be happening, no dad wake up. I was dragged out by a doctor, the last image of my dad was the doctor putting that heart rate thingy on him.
"DAD! DAD! COME BACK DAD!" I screamed. "Please come back." I couldn't scream anymore my aching throat wouldn't let me. I was in skip's arms now we sat in the waiting room. Brittany was in Luke's arms, James and Beau were waiting too. I would hear mumbles from everyone but brit, I couldn't tell what they were saying. I just heard rant voices. I couldn't cry anymore, I had ran out of tears from crying since the day I got here. My eyes were just stained red. I could hardly breathe.
First Jai was gone and now my dad. What next? Maybe I should die, the the pain would go.
"Do you need anything Claud?" James asked. I just shook my head.
"Beau and I are just gonna go out to get some food, we'll be right back ok?" I didn't respond.
I woke up in Skip's arms. How could I have fallen asleep.
"How long was I asleep for?" I asked, my voice emotionless.
"Only about 40 minutes." Skip told me.
"Any news?"
"No, sorry." Daniel said placing his hand on my head.
The doctor came out. He looked at everyone but me.
"I'm sorry, we couldn't save him." He said.
"What? No!" Brittany cried.
I couldn't take it. Everything was just so dizzy, I tried to take a step forward but next thing I know I wake up on my couch, at my dads place. Everyone gathered around me.
"What happened?" I asked.
"After the news about your dad you fainted. But they did some tests while you were passed out but they said you'd be fine just resting at home, apparently this kind of stuff happens all the time and they've got bigger problems to deal with." Beau said.
"Oh." I was too tired to think. I sat up, everyone freaked out saying 'be careful' and 'don't strain yourself'.
"I'm ok guys. Don't worry about me." I tried to get them off my back.
"Umm Claudia we are all just gonna head upstairs, so you can uhh relax. Ok?" Brittany said, weirdly.
"Whatever." I said.
They all left. I was alone i felt the couch sink at the other end. I looked to see who it was. I put my hand over my mouth.
"Hey Claud."
"Jai?"
