Claudia's POV
I kept staring at the ceiling.
I wanna smile, but I'm scared, what if I wake up and all of this isn't real? Oh God.
*knock *knock
My brother walked in after I gave him permission to.
"What's up, Clauds?" he asked
I turned to him, "Airplanes. What are you doing here, turd?" I said, hugging him like a pillow
"Oy! you're choking the life outta me." he said, slapping my arm
I let go and Cas landed beside me with a soft thud.
Cas has really grown up, he's 12 and towering over me. Standing at 5"5, while I'm stuck at 5"3. That's sad because he isn't gonna stop growing anytime soon!
"No, seriously. What's up? You don't seem yourself." Casimir said
I look at him, seriously confused. Was I really?
'Really?"
"Yep," he said the 'p' with a pop
"I was talking and you wouldn't answer so I told you I wanted to spray tan my armpits orange and you just nodded, saying 'Yeah, Ms. Jensen's cat is creepy.'" Cas said, crossing his arms
"Sorry, about that. Things have been topsy turvy lately," I said with a sigh
"Daniel." he instantly said, putting hi arms under his head.
"How'd you know?" I asked incredulously
"He came over a few days back to ask Dad and I's approval."
"Oh." How thoughtful of him, really.
"He's a nice guy, you don't have to worry."
"But Cas! I should be worried! The only romantic knowledge I have is online articles, romance novels, and magazine issues!" I complained
"Oh, boy," my brother whistled, laughing slightly
"Casimir!" I complained
"And did you see the girls Daniel used to date? Oh God! I look like sloth compared to them!"
He shifted, so he was sitting beside me. The amusement in his eyes gone.
"Look, sis. You look down on yourself too much. Don't hate on yourself because the way you are now is the person 'the' Daniel Chase fell for, so don't even doubt yourself for even a second," he said, holding my shoulders
I mentally awww'd. I didn't see this side of Casimir so much, it just tugged at my heartstrings.
"and you're not that ugly." he said
aaaaand the sweet side of him is gone.
I kicked him off of the bed, him landing straight on his butt.
"Turd!" I said
"Ow!" he yelled
"Okay, I sort of deserved that," he said, smiling
Casimir left a few minutes after and left me with my thoughts once more.
My phone beeped, showing off the screen, 6:30 pm, it read and also an unread message.
i quickly swiped the screen and opened the message.
