Chapter 14: Uhmm . . .

"Take care of one another and listen to Master Jiraya." I said this to Naruto and Kari at the gates of the village. "And I DON'T want to hear any complaints." I continued as I grabbed both of their ears tugging them. "OUCH!!!" They both yelled. I let go of there ears and they tried rubbing the pain off. "Master Jiraya take care of them!" I said with a smile to him. "Yea, yea." Was his only response.

 My heart pinched as I saw them walking away. I was dreading this, I was going to be completely alone for a couple of days to even weeks. I could summon Hayai or Meimei sometimes to keep me company but their busy doing whatever they do.

I made my walk to the hokage building, dragging my feet. Having my thoughts on my sister. I hope she does well and does what I tell her. I'm already as lonely as it is. As I walked I didn't realize I was walking in front of the usual restaurant Shisui and I ate breakfast at. I imagined us is that booth and him surprising me that kiss. I need to find another route, this brings back too many memories. I just stood their staring at the restaurant thinking on that day. Wishing I could go back in time and clean up my mistakes. 

"Uhmm Lady Yumi are you okay?" I had a voice at my side ask me. Jumping I turned around. It was Kakashi, "Kaskashi!? Oh hey, sorry. Too much on my mind." I said rubbing the back of my head. Kakashi gave me a closed eye smile. "I'm sorry I should get going." I said as I starting walking again, he started walking with me. Okay so I guess he's going with me? "I'm headed to the hokage office as well. Shikaku wants me there assigning missions." He said answering my thoughts. "Oh yes! How is that going for you?" I asked him. Kakashi's has been more present at council meetings and has been taking more responsibility recently. So they thought it would be fitting to place him in a bigger role. "It has its days." He answered back nervously, "Oh well if you need help just let me know." I said with a smile. "Thanks" He answered back sighing. The poor guy is probably taking it all upon himself. We silently made it to the hokages building and went our separate ways. The day went on with our tasks. It was lunch time and I was already starving. I hadn't ate breakfast, so I was extra hungry. I decided to go grab some lunch and snacks. I passed by an office and saw Kakashi holding his head. He looked stressed looking at some reports. I'll grab him something, poor guy.  I told myself as I walked out. I came pretty soon with 2 bags. One for him and one for me. I had boughten onigiris, bottled green teas, pockys and some other snacks. He was still in that office, sighing away as he read something. I knocked and he looked up right away. I lifted a bag "I got you something!" I said and walked in. He blushed as I placed the bag in front of him. "Take a break. It looks like you need it" I said laughing at him. He laughed a bit embarrassed. "Thanks! How much do I owe you?" He asked already taking his wallet out. "No, no. You can get me next time." I said as with my hand up, walking away. "Lady Yumi would you like to eat together?" Asked  Kakashi, he made me do a double take. I wasn't expecting that at all. "Uhmm sure. If you drop the Lady Yumi thing." I said smiling as I walked back in with him.

From that point, we took turns buying the other lunch. Taking each others lunch orders. We would sit down to eat our lunch together, complaining and talk about what tasks we had to do for that day. We had this going on for about a week until the weekend came. "Yumi its my turn for lunch tomorrow. Would you like to go out somewhere?" Tomorrow was Saturday I had told myself I was to workout. I hadn't done much when I came back. "Uhmm we can just wait until Monday." I said across my office as he stood by my door way. He lifted a eyebrow, silently asking what I would be doing. "I need to work out. I've been bad Kakashi. I've had zero days of training since I came back." He only laughed, "All right have a good weekend." Kakashi said as he started to walk away. "Thank you! You too!" I said as I looked down at my scrolls. "Kakashi's turn for lunch?"

That voice! I held my breath as I looked up. It was Anko.

"Anko! Finally!" I said as I ran to hug her. I missed her soooo much. She was like an answer to my prayers. I hugged her so tight, and right away the water works started. "Anko their's so much I need to talk to you about" I told her as my voice broke. "Yumi, whats wrong?" She asked shocked. She pushed back to look at me, trying to figure out what she missed. "Everything's wrong!" I whispered to her as I could't contain my tears. "Okay let get you home. Okay?" Anko said as she hugged me tight again. I felt everything as if was and headed home with her. We ran to my house, staying in the shadow so no one would notice my tears. I wanted to tell her my fuck ups in privacy. 

We made it to the living room and thats when I spilled my guts to her. I told her everything. I told her about Obito and Shisui. How they had fought. What happened the day of the attack. How my parents are gone. How I felt so alone. How much I regret what I did. How much I miss and loved Shisui. She had opened some sake bottles my dad had to help dull the pain. 

"Oh Yumi!" Anko sighed setting down her cup of sake. "Girl you let yourself get carried away by Obito." She said rubbing her face and continued, "But Shisui and you weren't together. Plus he was basically seeing other women. So he has no right technically to confront you." She tried making me feel better. "Yea but remember their still related." I told her putting a finger up. We were both drunk and over talking this topic. "I'm just gonna lay off the Uchiha's." I said this sighing. "Maybe try a Hyuga or a Nara." I said shaking my head. "The stuck up clan or the lazy clan?" Anko asked. We looked at each other and started laughing. Anko saw something on this and went with it, "What about the Aburame's clan?" She laughed as she said this. I made a gaging sound and stuck my finger in my mouth, "I would rather die! You know I don't do bugs!" I hated bugs! I'm pretty sure I have some type of phobia. The actual clan members were good people  but there specialty, ability whatever you wanna call it I hated it!I gave me chills just thinking about it.

We soon got off topic and started talking about the clans and who would we do. Imagining all this I was caught up again in the drama that was in my mind and life. Saying I would still do Shisui. 

Anko did made me feel better though. The time passed by with her. Her and I started yawning. "Should head out," Anko said as she stood up. "Noooo! Stay!" I told her as I stood up with her. "But I've been missing my bed Yumi!" Anko said whining. "Just stay a bit more." I asked begging her. She gave me a mischievous look thinking about it. "Tell me how Obito was." I eyes got big. Should I tell her? I do trust her. "Uhmm" I said not sure weather to tell her. "Come on Yumi its just us two!" She said this whispering. "Hold up." I said as a quickly summoned Meimei. "Lady Yumi? Are you drunk?" Asked Meimei as she took a good look at me. "Just a little Meimei. Look I need you to be on the look out. I'm going to tell Anko a deep dark secret and no one else can hear." I said this to Meimei. Her little eyes got big and right away set out to see of their was anyone around. Anko couldn't contain herself. "Oh my God! Oh my God!" She squealed. And thats when I began my little story.

***Lady Yumi, ever since you came back you've caught my eye. That sad face you carry doesn't suit you. Your with Shisui Uchiha are you not? I thought you were madly in love with him. Did you finally hear? You haven't mentioned him at all at our lunch dates or whatever you want to call them. ***
