After we ate our disgusting cafeteria style breakfast we were rushed outside to enjoy what they like to call ‘outdoor therapy’. I would much rather sit in my room and write all day the doctors saw this as ‘unhealthy’ and wouldn’t allow it.

I sat at my usual spot, under a large oak tree with Sage sitting on one of the branches. I was doodling in my note pad as Sage checked out any of the intern nurses. Not many of them stayed, either they couldn’t handle us, or they would be caught doing ‘disorderly conduct’.

The only one nurse who has stayed through all of us is Nurse Kelly. I was actually quite surprised though, but considering how much of a stone cold bitch she was I’m sure nothing we could say could ever rock her to the core.

“hey Les,” sage said jumping down from the tree and slumping down next to me, one of his legs up balancing his card deck.

“How long do you think it would take to get in the new girls pants?”

I started laughing as we both looked over as Arya sat on one of the benches with Kalen sitting next to her. Nurse Kelly was encouraging her to write stuff on a piece of paper and she was doing what she was told, though Kalen looked thoroughly annoyed about it. I laughed at the whole situation.

“Um,” I said biting the end of my pen, “a week tops.”

Sage began laughing, “A week? Please I bet 4 days.”

“You’re on.” I said shoving him with my shoulder.

“If I win, you owe me a cigarette pack.” Sage got up from where he was sitting and stretched, his shirt slightly lifted up showing his defined abs.

“well I better get started.” I began laughing as he strode off in the direction of where Arya was sitting.

As he approached Kalen glared at him, as did Nurse Kelly though she disguised it well. Just watching as every advance Sage made being blocked by Kalen made me laugh so hard I thought my side was going to explode.

Sometimes, Sage was just too much.
