Cole said we wouldn't need to dress up fancy, but I really wanted to look nice for our date so I decided on a black strapless bodysuit with high-waisted skinny jeans and my black leather booties. I threw a nice black coat on because it's a chilly evening and got my cute Ralph Lauren bag. It's the most expensive thing I own, and it was only ninety dollars.

I've never spent money like that in my life, but it was similar to my moms and I have always loved it. It was a no brainer in the moment.

Cole was waiting downstairs so I could grab my purse, so I walked down to meet him and he smiled. "You look so gorgeous."

Feeling embarrassed, I looked down and laughed. "Thank you. You look good too, Cole."

I interlocked my arm with his then led him to the front door. We walked out and to his Jeep and Cole opened the door for me to get in. It was actually the first time I've been inside of it. It was clean and smelled brand new, pretty much exactly how I imagined it.

Cole hopped in the other side and when he turned the car on, his music began playing through his Bluetooth on his phone.

Cole turned it down and turned to me, "Ready?"

I laughed. "Yes, and hungry, so I hope there will be food."

"There certainly will be."

We have been in the car 15 minutes when I see the bright blue lights around the building. I know those lights anywhere and I'm immediately excited because he brought me to Main Event.

"Oh my gosh!" I exclaim, looking out the car window.

"Have you been here before?" Cole asked, pulling in to a nearby parking spot.

We both got unbuckled. "Yeah! It's been a while though."

Main Event is basically a bowling alley with a bar, pool tables, a huge gaming area, laser tag, and rope walking on a harness in the air. I remember my dad brought me and Jackson here shortly before he left us and we had a blast. I remember it being pretty expensive and wondering why my dad was spending so much. Turns out he just wanted to spoil us one last time before he ditched us.

Cole grabbed my hand in his as we walked up to the building. I began feeling nervous for some reason.

"Just so you know, I'm going to kill you in bowling." He said matter of factly.

I looked up at Cole's smirking face and let out a small giggle. "So do you think you're good at everything, or?"

"Ha ha, you're funny," he said sarcastically.

We walked up to the counter where Stacy stood at a register.

Oh great. And I thought we'd actually have a smooth date night. Maya, stop living in a fantasy land.

"Cole!" She exclaimed, waving him closer, then hugged him over the counter. Ignoring me completely, she put her elbows on the counter, leaning close to him.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, wiggling her eyebrows.

"It's date night," he said, then smiled at me giving me reassurance.

Stacy glanced at me for a second then looked back at Cole. "So you going to get your ass kicked in bowling again?" She grinned. Again?

"Never!" Cole exclaimed, laughing. I crossed my arms, watching as he fed into her flirting. "I'm about to beat Maya tonight." He looked at me and gently pushed my arm. I could tell he wanted me to lighten up. "Isn't that right?"

I smiled, "You wish. You'll find out shortly that I'm actually amazing."

Stacy grabbed our wristbands and grabbed Cole's hand to put it around his wrist. She grazed his hand then fasted the clasps. I watched closely, not even caring if I gave her a dirty look.
