It's so sad how I recall the days we were together
How deep we were in love
How you used to make me laugh
How you whispered through the phone when I phoned in the middle of the night.
The pain I feel is too deep
Deep, deep,deep to that deep
Everytime I think of what we used to be
I end up crying
Silently but louder in the heart
How you pronounced my name
How you smiled at me at the taxi rank
How you waved at me from the backseat
How you said goodbye my love
How you sang that DOLLY PARTON'S song dedicating it to me.
We were in love, really in love
Remember that day under that tree
When you laughed till you cried
When I had to wipe your tears off your cheeks using my thumbs?
You came too close to me
That I could feel the warmness of your breath and your heart beat to my chest
And you rested your head on my shoulder with your hands around my waist.
Guess what?
The smell of you on that day is still fresh in my nose.
It was then but the memories of us when we were us are eating me up
