I didn't sleep at all for the third night in a row; this is just AMAZING. The only thing that has been on my mind was Charlotte's reaction towards my confession, and why it was so. I spend most of my days alone, so evidently, this is the sole thing that haunts my mind continuously. After thinking about this whole predicament, it finally hit me. There's absolutely nothing about me for her to like. I have no exceptional qualities to arouse her endearment; I'm just annoying and tell horrible jokes. This chain of thoughts is the only thing that is ever on my mind.
Why the hell did I think telling her was a good idea?
It was the worst thing I've ever done in my life. The only thing that could somewhat divert me from my troubles was tediously doing math and proclaiming abhorrent jokes. The rare occasion in which I make someone laugh makes me feel less like a worthless dimwit.
OKAY, I MUST stop thinking about her. I haven't the time to vex over this any longer.
Today is our field trip, so I'm going to try to forget that she exists for seven FAT hours. Hopefully, I will be granted seven hours in which I will be completely oblivious to my contemporary state. I desperately need this, so props to the school for giving me something other than hell. Well, once, they gave me something akin to heaven: Ch-. NOOOOO.
I can't think li-. The bus is here.
OH MY GOD; I made the bus- barely though. My bus driver still reprimanded me for my tardiness. That's of no importance, though- because today was EXCEPTIONAL.
Jamie showed me some dank memes before the field trip and they were elegant. I know that's a peculiar way to describe them but they were truly noteworthy. I had to take out my thesaurus for that sentence. Mr. Wilson talked to Jamie and I about the word "dope". It was a very intriguing conversation. The engaging discussion lasted a duration of ten minutes and subsequently, the buses arrived.
MY FRIEND JAMAL WOULD ACCOMPANY US ON OUR VOYAGE TO CHICAGO. So would Regina, Callie, and Mia. I obviously sat next to Jamal because he's a g. Mia, Callie, and Regina sat right next to us which made the ride even more eventful. Mia... how to describe her... She's an extremely interesting specimen. If I'm being real, I'm a bit afraid of her. She says she could beat me up, but I'm the strongest guy at our lunch table, so I doubt it.
On the bus, I was sitting by with Jamal, Regina, Mia, and Callie. During the bus ride to our favored destination, we all played this virtual UNO game on our phones. It was pretty fun but we stopped abruptly, out of nowhere. Everyone kind of kept to themselves after.
Regina was laying on Mia's arm, Callie had her airpods in, and Jamal and I were playing gAmEs ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) with each other. Nothing else worth noting occurred, except us making fun of Regina and Mia. We were basically harassing them because they were acting like a married couple (they somehow involved themselves in 'marriage', but that's another story for another time). Regina's excuse for initiating contact was "her arm is comfortable, you should try it." Regina has never terrified me more but it was still comical.
Once we got on the boat, this random black guy asked Jamie, Jamal, and I if we were going to high school next year. We replied with an indifferent "yes". He proceeded to tell us that it would be the worse time of our lives, which is palpable. On the boat, they had this queer drink and Jamie conspired that it was secretly alcohol because everyone who drank it acted insane like ten minutes later. He regrets not drinking it, and to be honest, so do I.
Halfway through the tour, I realized some guy was speaking into an intercom. I hadn't a dim understanding of what he was saying. All I heard was "that's something you don't tell your wife."
I saw Charlotte once on the boat and I said hello, only to receive silence in return. Hopefully, her lack of response was due to her not hearing me. I immediately tried to get this out of my mind, though. So, I started talking to Jamie. He's great at distracting me when I'm in bad moods.
After that, we got off the boat and went to Millenium Park. Then we finally ate lunch, and I was thankful for this, as I was starving. The park was a lot of fun, but- REGINA AND MIA ASSAULTED ME. They chased me 'til my shoes fell off and proceeded to SNATCH them. I was mortified, as it was a terrible experience. Perhaps they were vindictive due to their being subjects of tame ridicule on the bus.
The expedition back to familiar grounds was L O N G.
Nosotros jugamos "Kiss, Marry, Kill"- and I had to choose between Mia, Callie, and Regina.
I killed Mia before she could kill me, kissed Regina (yum), and married Callie. Callie has an endless supply of tequila, so it was an obvious choice. Jamal played it with us too. Jamal switched up Callie and Regina, and I respect his sagacious decision.
We were all high; At one point we asked like 10 people (including teachers)- who they thought would be in a relationship first. One of them actually answered and said I would be the first one. That made me chuckle-snort because Regina and Mia are already in an r-, I mean what? *Ralph suddenly perishes from spasms, Regina is the suspected source*.
The bus in front of us crashed oR sOmEtHiNg, so our ride was delayed about 30 minutes. Things were getting pretty rowdy at this point. This guy in the back needed to pee and threatened to pee on people if they didn't move. I respect him, yet I was experiencing the exact opposite need at that moment. I required water more than anything. I would've SAT on someone for water (the only threat I can ever dish out).
After we finally got to school, they had pizza waiting for us. Try to imagine my complete and utter shock! This one gesture makes up for the three YEARS of hElL. I scavenged around for a drink when we arrived.
Regina was on my after school bus so I had to de- I mean be with her for the ride home. (Nah, he experienced complete exuberance from my wonderful presence - Nat). She put her legs on my seat, and the simple movement awakened my peevishness. I wanted to shove her legs off. When she caught on to my intentions, she gave me a look that practically said, "bro chill they're not even affecting you." That was the most preposterous thing I've ever been bugged by. I'm still angry at Regina for that though; I refuse to forgive her.
All in all, today has been an amazing escape from reality.
