hi, im selena and im 16 years old. my little sister is emi. we just moved to LA for a fresh start. Our parents passed a year ago.. so me and my sister worked everyday of our lives. we've gained enough money to settle in and not be on the move anymore. we have some family here so we won't be alone most of the time.
5:00 am.
-beep beep-
" ah shit here we go again" . i got up and washed my face. I did light makeup today I didn't wanna go all out. I put on a white crop top, light jeans, and my white slip on vans. I went downstairs and started making breakfast for emi.
"Goodmorning sissss", she said as she walked down the stairs.
"good morning to you to emi"
"So you ready for school"
she looked at me with that bitch wtf face
"I'll never be ready"
"alright we're gonna be late let's go". I grabbed my keys and got in my car.
"What if there's cute boys at our new school?"
"Oh so your really thinking about that right now emi?".

we hopped out the car and went inside. we went to the office and got our schedules.
i had science first period..great.
I went to the back of the class and sat st the last desk.
"oh god i might want to die while in this class".
A blonde headed girl turns around and say something
"oh girl me too it's really annoying, you must be the new girl right?"
"Actually i am, my names Selena... and you?"
"The names Amy, nice to meet you".
just then this boy with a really cute smile and eyes came and sat next to Amy.
"hey baby. You look so cute today".
"Thank you Joey, I would like to introduce you to the new girl, Selena".
He turns around and god his eyes are so beautiful.
"hey new girl I'm Joey-"
"Birlem. Oh um sorry for cutting you off. I've seen you on Instagram".
shit now i recognized his green eyes
"I um it's not problem, I'm sure you've met Amy already.. my girlfriend".
Selena's pov
Ah so he's that kind of boy huh. don't fall for him kid. It's not gonna get you in a good place.
"Earth to Selena" amy said as she waved her hand
"Oh um sorry. I think class is starting"
The teacher came in and greeted the class. He didn't even care to introduce me but whatever less embarrassment for me.
I hear this very loud crash and look up from my note book. There's the late kid. He had black hair, braces and he dressed good.
"Your late Guzman, what's the excuse this time", the teacher stated.
"nothing.." he said as he scanned the room for an empty seat.
Of course it was right next to me.
he walked to the back and sat next to me.
"who are you may I ask" said the kid with no name
"im the new girl.. my names sele-"
"Yeah didn't ask ok."
"But you just did ask"
"and I've came to a conclusion where I don't care"
"And so have I mr Guzman"
"And what's that softass"
"that your a mean one mister"
"oh so it's not even Christmas and I've ruined it?"
"Yessir, you've made my Christmas today very sad".
"oh my mrs sele let me make it up to you".
"oh and how's that mean one"
"You, me, after school, ice cream"
"I think you've got yourself a deal mean one"
he winks at me and started to pay attention to the lesson.
meanwhile I go on with my day. I see emi most of the time in the hall way. She seems like she's having a great day.
2:00. finally out of school.
Selena's pov
I walked out with emi and I noticed someone at my car. wtf it's only my first day.
"Why are you at my car? Shouldn't you be with amy?"
joey laughed. "I need to tell you something before you go on that little date".
"YOU GOT A DATE?! OMGG SELENA WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME. AHHHHHHH."
"Because it wasn't really that important. Besides I have to take you home anyways."
"actually can I go hang out with my friend... I kinda met this boy Carlos and I wanna hang with him and his friends"
"Fine now move along emi be back before 10".
emi ran towards Carlos and he hugged her
"Now, back to what I was saying. You shouldn't go on that date with Alex he's no good for you".
"Says the one with the girlfriend. Listen I really appreciate it but I can choose what I want to do."
"Selena you don't understand theres a be-"
Just as he was about to finish the mean one came
"Hey guys what you guys talking about"
"Nothing I was just asking her if she's seen amy"
"Oh she's in the front of the school".
Joey leaves and it's just me and Guzman.
he takes my phone from my pocket.
"Hey give me my phone back."
"Not till I do this".
He put his phone number with his name as Alex with a red heart.
"Let's get going cutie".
