"wow." felix looked out of the car window towards the landscape of the city. it was full of lights. they looked like stars, but on the ground. they, the nine boys, had been driving together for the past two hours. they had gone to a fast food restaurant, burger king, to get a meal an hour ago where they had stopped on top of a mountain that overlooked the city.

"let's go home," chan's voice spoke form the radio. "okay," changbin responded putting his car into reverse so he could back them out and back onto the main road. he looked at the clock, 12:37. they still had around two hours to get all their suitcases and drive to the airport. and to tell felix that he's leaving.

-
it didn't take them that long to get home, only twenty minutes.

felix grabbed onto his hand, saying he wanted to lie down. "changbin?" felix asked as he stepped into the bedroom. the raven head hummed, looking at some funny instagram post seungmin had posted. "where are you going?" he asked another question. this one however, made changbin look up. felix let go of his hand. "i," changbin tried to find a way to explain to the love of his life, that he was going back to mexico to work with gangs, without telling him that.

"how long are you going to be gone for?" felix asked thinking it might just be a week thing. "it isn't for that long right?"

"i'm going to mexico," changbin finally let out, walking towards the desk near his bed. "for a couple of months maybe." he turned around looking at the shocked boy. "w-why?" he stuttered out sitting on the older boys bed, looking down to his hands.

changbin sighed walking over to the younger boy. "we got a message from the person we got involved with last time and they need our help," he summarized. "oh."

"are you angry?" changbin tried to comfort the blonde boy. "how can i not be?" felix asked in a soft voice. "you didn't tell me you were going, across the world for a few months, until now." "i'm sorry," changbin hugged him tightly. "it's only a few months, i promise." changbin kisses his temple. "changbin we have to get going now," jisung popped his head through the door before leaving. "you're leaving already?" felix asked his voice cracking a bit. "i'm sorry."

-
"i love you so much, don't ever forget that okay?" changbin whispered into felix's blonde hair, hugging him as tightly as he could. "i love you too, changbin." felix mumbles against his chest. "i'll try to text you, there's a chance i might not be able to reach you for a while, i'm sorry."

"stop apologizing. as long as you find me some way." felix smiled, giving some space so that he could connect their lips. the kiss lasted a couple of seconds before they pulled away, hugging one last time before patting fully. "i love you," changbin repeated taking a step backwards and near chan's car, "take care of our house and my cars okay? i'll be back before you know it." he stated, chuckling a bit before letting go felix's hand.

the blonde boy watched the boy who had made his summer so much better, drive away. he whipped his tear before letting out a whisper.

"i will."
