CHAPTER 3

Sam POV
Wake up on Monday morning, feeling tired. Today, I got job interview to attend, Spenc’s suggestion. Hope everything went well.

That’s not what am I concerned about. I didn’t call or even chat her yet, by means Nadine. She would think that I’ve forgotten her. Well, absolutely no, never. Mom being too hardworking, yesterday morning had took everything that needs to be cleaned without telling me. Last night, I was planning call her but the only thing that can get us connected have not exist anymore.

Sure I can just went to their house but I am not ready for that. My mood already ruin this morning. I need Nadine. I feel that we're close but why it's feels off between us. Is this what I got for playing around the Watson siblings.

I tells Amel my true feeling toward both her sis but she never know that me and Nadine getting close after the sorry phase. I never tell Aurora that I found Nadine is pretty attractive and I secretly getting close with Nadine behind Aurora's back. Maybe Aurora didn't mind that, she never see us as more than best friend.

Maybe, me and Nadine are never meant for each other. I just went through my day trying to stop thinking about Watson siblings.

The interview went well and I'll just have to wait for the result. I'm pretty sure I'll be accepted, the interviewer last word shows it. If didn't, I'll just looking for others.

Before I steps in my car, my phone ringing with unknown number. I answers.

"Hello."

"Oh, hi, it's me, Amelia. I got your number from Aurora. Do you have time? I've got something to talk to you."

"Oh, sis. I just finished my job interview, but now I'm all free. You sound so serious, did I make trouble? Or is it regard your wedding photos?" I started feel nervous.

"Hahaha, relax Sam. No, nothing is wrong. Just want to talk. How about at 7 this evening? I still got something to deal. Oh, that photos, no need to be rush." Amel explained.

"Sure."

Nadine POV
After last dinner, I've been waiting for his call. I looked really stupid, I brings my phone everywhere, in hope he'll call me any second. I don't want to look obvious, but I can't help myself. I asked Aurora whether Sam had called her during yesterday lunchtime. My whole family looked at me suspiciously but I tried to cover it with Sam's duty as Amel's wedding photographer. Amel did support me but then she said she'll call him later.

In school, I can't concentrate, thank God I only got a few class for today. After everthing done, I went home. As I arrived home, I see Amel at the front door. She talks to someone through phone. She didn't see me coming as she's too focus playing with the flowers. I tiptoe towards her and stop when I hear Sam name. She's on the phone with Sam. Is it my Sam? I try to eavesdropping. But, then she turns around and get shock on my existence.

"Oh my God!  You're idiot. Since when that you've been there?" Then, she return back to the call.

"Hey, sorry. I'll see you soon. Bye, Sam." She glared at me, then entered the house.

"Who was that?" I asked her.

"Sam"
