CHAPTER 13

Nadine's Dad POV
I want Nadine and Nathan to get married. That boy, Samuel is not around for a month now. I guess they already broke up. Plus, Nathan and Nad getting closer these day.

"Hey, sweety." I sit besides Nad at our front yard.

"Hey, dad."

"I've something to discuss with you, is it ok?" She just nod. "I want you to marry Nathan."

She turns, facing me, "WHAT?!"

"Nathan has agree. Plus, you're already broke up with that boy."

Silence for minutes, then Nadine speaks.

"Why do you hate him so much?"

"It's not that I hate him, I think he's never serious with you. Baby,..you're not in the age to play "boyfriend- girlfriend" anymore, you should think of marriage. You know that Samuel do have feeling with Ora too in the past, then suddenly he love you. He's playing with you two, baby. And, if you're asking him to marry you, I don't think he'll agree with it."

"But,..Dad! I love him."

"I still want you to be with Nathan."

Nadine looking at me with disbelief face. Then, she stands, "You can't force me, dad."

"Wait, sweety. I...I just don't want the history to repeat..." Nadine furrows her brow and sit back.

"What do you mean?" Nadine asks her dad.

"Sam is just like me in my past. I was a playboy back then, dating different person at the same times. Like Samuel, who tends to love you and Ora, I was also date siblings. When the siblings knew about that, they fight with each other, and never blame me on that relationship. They blame each other. The younger,,she...kill the older, and as the younger regret her doing, she...commit suicide after a week. After that, I'm getting trauma,...they keep bothering my sleep, and I nearly...end my own life, until I meet the love of my life,... your mom."

"Sorry Dad,....but,..Sam is different, he never date. He may close to Ora but they never dating. You can't just punish someone based on your history, dad."

I chuckles on my daughter's word. She really love that boy. "If he do love you, where's he now. I know you two not in good term now."

"I can't marry Nath, he's like a brother to me."

"He's okay with it,, I've discuss with your uncle. We'll prepare everything, you two just need to be bride and groom... And it'll be in the next 2 months."

"DAD!!!"

SAM POV
Another one month to go, then I can go back. After the argument with Nadine, my company have sent me and Camila to outstation for 2 month's work. Life been busy, but I can't avoid thinking of Nadine. I'm just too ego to contact her, so I just leave it away. I know it hurt her but she's the one who ask for it.

She probably doesn't need me anymore. She probably have her lovely cousin by her side now. Maybe we're not meant to each other.

Nadine POV
I need explanation from Nathan, why did he agree with this. We both know that there is no love between us. We close but like friend, sibling. Not as a couple. So I decide to call him.

Me: what the hell that you accepting this marriage?
N: hello to you too
Me: seriously Nath!
N: okay,  okay let's meet.
