A/N: Again. The violence is real. Or just for a lil bit...

One... Two... Three...

Taehyung counted them off, willed them to reach an end faster. He refused to open his eyes as he felt Seokjin's screams of agony echo through his skull. He refused to watch as he heard Yoongi's curses roll off his tongue. He just couldn't stand watching his hyung fall apart as he delivered his heavy blows onto Seokjin's body.

Because Taehyung knew that it hurt Yoongi too.

Hurting someone so much... Causing them so much pain...

It hurt him.

Four... Five... Six...

Seokjin was pleading now. But his voice was barely audible over the sounds of metal crashing on his own skin. He'd gotten quieter, no doubt about that. Almost as if he was slipping in and out of consciousness due to the pain. But behind his closed eyes, Taehyung didn't feel any pity. He was proud to say he didn't.

Seven... Eight... Nine...

By far, the loudest shots delivered.

Taehyung could hear Yoongi's sobs. It sang songs of pain in its purest form. It told stories of an apology. But not an apology to the man who lay crumbled and broken at Yoongi's feet, no. Rather, to his best friend, his brother who was forced to listen to him slip between being monster and human. Taehyung knew, however, that Yoongi was nothing like the monster that Seokjin had become. Becuse he knew that Yoongi was only taming the real monster. All because it seemed like the most humane thing to do.

Ten.

It was over. Ten shots were promised, and just as promised, it was over.

The IV pole dropped to the tiles with an audible clang. Taehyung heard Yoongi drop to his knees straight after. Never would he have thought that hearing his hyung cry would cause him so much pain. Until he heard Yoongi's voice again, in a reassurance more to himself than to Seokjin's broken state.

"T-that... That was for T-Taehyung," he choked out into the air. "That was for h-hurting him!"

And by then, Taehyung was ready to open his eyes. He was ready to take in the fact that Yoongi was his hero. That he was okay. That they were okay. That finally finally finally, they were both okay.

Taehyung made himself blind to the pools of blood gathering on the floor. The stains of red became a natural feed on his eyes in a matter of seconds. He completely locked his gaze away from travelling near the barely breathing Seokjin. Because his heart was somewhere else. His heart was somewhere that mattered.

"Yoongi-ah..."

He tried forcing the pain in his ribs away, gave it access to travel far away from his aching body. But the agony still restricted him from doing the most. Taehyung dragged himself to Yoongi's side. He tore his eyes away from the gaping hole at his hyung's stomach. Because he forced himself to be blind to the pools of red. He needed to be blind to the damage caused for that moment.

He needed to...

He needed to.

"H-hyung..."

Yoongi seemed to fall apart even further as Taehyung took hold of his hand. His sobs were like gunshots, and his tears, like bullets to Taehyung's chest. For a moment, Taehyung had forgotten about the pain and the agony of moments before, forgotten that Yoongi could've been dead just moments before. Because even in his state, Yoongi's arms were suddenly around him, as if making up for the damage that Seokjin had done.

"Tae... I'm so sorry..."

Taehyung knew that the voiced apology carried many more to follow. "I'm sorry for not killing Seokjin" was one. "I'm sorry for letting him hurt you" was another. But Taehyung wasn't willing to accept Yoongi's apologies. Because they were simply apologies that, in reality, should have been voiced by Seokjin himself.

"D-don't be sorry, hyung," he whispered, feeling himself finally relax in Yoongi's surprisingly strong hold. "Just... Just take me somewhere, and we'll be fine. Anywhere that isn't here."

He didn't know where his mind was. He felt exhaustion glue his eyes shut. But still he heard Yoongi's soft laugh at his ear, no matter how pained it sounded.

"Okay then..." the older coaxed, with a gentle brush through Taehyung's hair to match. "Any suggestions for where I should take you, Taehyungie?"

But Taehyung shook his head. He didn't have a single place in mind. Not one.

"I..." He sniffed. "I just want to go somewhere good, hyung. S-somewhere where I can be happy." He opened his eyes to find Yoongi's glued on his face. Then he shut them again. "I just want to forget this life and go somewhere where this depression doesn't exist. And I don't want you to be depressed anymore either. I want to go somewhere where I can laugh and smile like all the normal kids, you know? I... I..."

Then he smiled, felt his eyes fill with tears. Because Taehyung finally knew. He finally had somewhere in mind.

"I want... Jimin. I want to go to Jimin."

The smile stayed on his face as his mind drew a picture of the person he knew he'd give everything to see. He wanted to hold the hands he'd never had the chance to touch, to kiss the lips he'd never had the chance to taste. That was it. He wanted refuge. Somewhere he could call home.

Jimin.

He only wanted Jimin.

That's where he wanted to be.

"And that's exactly where I'll take you."

He heard Yoongi say it with purpose, with a promise hidden behind the tears. He took his hyung's lips on his forehead as an indication that it was more than just a pretty lie being spun for him.

"You better rest, Tae. We're leaving in the morning."

In that moment, it became real. In that moment, Yoongi's words became truth. Taehyung opened his eyes one last time and asked one question when in fact he had a few millions.

"To Busan?"

And his hyung's smile and the small nod was the answer. The last answer Taehyung received before he was consumed by sleep.

"To Jungkook, to Jimin... To Busan."
