2 weeks later...

There's 23 containers of Pelyminthalene in your hospital's storage cabinets. I only need 2. Send it to the front desk by Tuesday. Mark it with my apartment room's number.

You know the adress.

Don't make things suspicious.

If you're thinking about ditching this request, I'd advise that you don't. Rather think about what's at stake here. You might think that me being in Daegu means I can't reach people in Busan. But I have my ways. So think about Taehyung's beloved Jimin before you do anything stupid.

And as for you, think about Jungkook.

Be careful.

Be smart.

You have 5 days.

Starting now.

Yoongi's hands shook as his eyes darted over the note left for him. And for the first time in two years, he felt fear almost consume him.

He looked at the stash of money that came with the letter, thought of all the things he could do with it.

And for the first time in a while, his growing insanity allowed him to give in to his fantasies.

He could probably run away. He most probably would. He'd take Taehyung and buy themselves out of hospital. No one would say a thing anyways. They'd go somewhere where no one could find them. They'd be happy. Yoongi knew they would be.

But...

But that was only his broken fantasy--one he could reach out to, but which he would never ever grasp. The fantasy that didn't involve him having to look over his shoulder after every step he took. The fantasy that didn't involve him having to check Taehyung's phone daily just to make sure Seokjin didn't try to contact him.

Yoongi thought of everything that could go wrong if he gave into temptation, if he gave into this fantasy and the lie he was spinning for himself. He thought of all that was at stake.

And deep down... Deep, deep down he knew he would get hurt either way. He knew Taehyung would too.

And...

Jungkook.

If Yoongi didn't do what he needed to, there was no doubt that Seokjin would find a way to hurt him. But if he did, if he kept on with his lies, Yoongi knew that he'd be hurting Jungkook himself. There had to be some point where the younger would find out about everything anyways, that Yoongi was an ex-drug dealer who was ultimately still in action, and that the main reason for him trying to keep Taehyung away from Seokjin since the beginning was because of the history that Yoongi and Seokjin shared. That was all part of the the truths that he dreaded telling Jungkook all along.

But deep down... Deep, deep down, he knew that he'd be better off hurting Jungkook himself--that maybe it would hurt less than having to wait for Seokjin to do it.

Yoongi read the note from Seokjin one more time, hoping that maybe it would have a change in meaning at some point.

But nothing changed.

Yoongi was still alone.

He still had no where to go.

And he was still suffering in his broken reality--where he had to give in to the request laid down for him.
