-----Liberty-----

I stepped down the stairs as gracefully as I could. When I looked up, I wished I hadn't, everyone was watching me. Sluts and other girls glared daggers at me, and guys were practically drooling. I blushed and looked down at the steps. My brothers were standing at the bottom smiling up at me. I saw a huge cake in the corner and smiled at them. They knew I loved cake.

When I reached the bottom the music began again and people resumed what they were doing. Many came to wish me a happy birthday. I smiled and thanked them.

Eventually, Ann pulled me onto the dance floor. Shyly, I danced, and whenever a drunk pervert tried to dance with me, Ann glared at him and told him to leave. Eventually, I tired of dancing and wandered off. Someone handed me a cup and without looking to see what it was I took a sip then nearly had a spit take. Beer. Ugh. I threw the cup away. Hold on. Who brought beer? We didn't put any out. Someone must have brought it. Then I saw guys leading girls into rooms and upstairs. Ew. Just then I noticed a wonderful smell. Woodsy and masculine. I wanted to follow it until it hit me what that was. He was here! Shit!

I wheeled around and started looking frantically for Ann. She found me first.

"Ann! He's here! I smelt him! Help!"

"Wha- OH!"

I nodded like a maniac at her and she started to say something then looked up and gasped. I started to turn, then paused. A woodsy, masculine smell hit me and I turned. Then gasped as well.

It took me almost an hour to find her. My horse was driving me crazy. He wanted to find her and love her and keep her away from other males. By then I remembered how she felt about a mate and was unsure. My horse assured me.

'She does want us, she just doesn't know it. Now go find her!'

I saw her and started towards her. Suddenly she lifted her head and snuffed the air, she smelt me. Her eyes widened then she wheeled around and took off. I followed quickly after her.

When I caught up to her she was talking to her friend. Ann looked up at me then gasped, Liberty had started to turn, smelt me, then turned. She too gasped.

I looked anxiously at her and waited for her to say something.
